LeAnn Rimes' Lady & Gentlemen is one of the most incredible albums I've ever heard. Her voice is absolutely phenomenal and ONLY a vocalist as talented as LeAnn could cover the songs she does. Her single "Give" brings me to tears with every listen. The video is so moving as well. I'm happy to see LeAnn is getting such amazing feedback on this album. It is very well deserved. I cannot wait to see her live!

When I heard her sing this on TV, I couldnt wait until it was released. Powerful words! Even more powerful voice. Brings tears! Her best to date!

the tone of her voice is a lot harsher on this album, not as pretty as it used to be and she overkills on singing through her nose. I mean I know, this is country music but she is so nasally I can barely listen to it. And well, the songs are pretty good but not outstanding.

I'm not a fan, usually, of cover albums. I guess I'm a bit of a purist...I've always felt the original artist and right song find each other and that's what makes a great song stay relevant forever. This album is the exception. I actually like LeAnn's version of "He Stopped Loving Her Today" as much as the original and no one is more surprised than me. She proves she can sing any song and bring a new, fresh perspective to it and these classic songs get fantastic new renditions. In recent years, her personal life has overshadowed her amazing talent, which is a shame, because she is truly gifted and this album is a showcase for her unbelievable voice and style.

- Real Country Music

Now this is what I call real country music. She sounds very country like on every songs. I don't hear any bluesy sounds or jazzy or anything. All I hear is pure country that was from the 1990s.

I have been a long time fan of LeAnn, but her private life REALLY turned me off. But her private life is her private life...it has nothing do with her voice. Her voice is stunning. And this album is pretty good.

This is Country! Have you heard some of the "Country" out their these days?! If anything is Country this is! I have also been a fan since the original Blue! Leann has come a long way and is sticking to her roots of "old" country and I absolutly love it! Great job Leann!

I have had the album on repeat since Tuesday. I want to hear every note and emotion of this record. LeAnn delivers with her amazing vocals and bits and pieces of her soul. She did an amazing job on the cover songs. I love the single 'Give'! It's one of the most positive songs I've heard in a a long time! Thank you LeAnn for sharing your music and talent! I learned to appreciate country music because of LeAnn.

Gave it 2 stars, cause of last song on cd "Give" and "Good Hearted Woman". However rest of cd was not good at all. Sorry LeAnn, maybe you should get rid of Eddie like CBS did on CSI Miami. You are not such a "good hearted woman yourself". Anyway, love your music, but only gave this album 2 stars.

The depth of this lady's talent has no limits. This latest album is just one more example of what she does best.. County music may be where she is best know but this lady can cross over and out sing anyone and outclass any of today's "top 10 women singers" in any genre. Country music stations need to play her music every hour on the hour. She has a voice uniquely her own and, as others have said, she can put chills on you no matter what she sings.. Way to go, Leann!

There's one or two good ones here, but not the whole album. Waylon does Waylon best. There are just some classic country artists whose songs you don't mess with.

I've been a HUGE LeAnn Rimes fan for over a decade and I must say that this is my least favorite album! Can you say spiral out of control? Get it together LeAnn and make something better than this!

I've always been intrigued with Leann's voice, and I've enjoyed a few of her previous songs. This album, however, is something totally different and amazing to me. I keep listening to it over and over. Beautiful and clever arrangments of some country standards that I remember listening to as a kid. I can't wait for Lady and Gentlemen II!

I'm always surprised when I hear Leann's voice. I think her new album is good and I'm ready to hear more from her. I have loved her since she started at 14 and still loving her music and whoever thinks that she is less of a person because she is with Eddie they r wrong and shouldn't judge it's her life let her live it and remember everyone makes mistakes even when u marry young or to the wrong person as she did so listen to her album and enjoy it.

- Better with Time

I have enjoyed listening to LeAnn since the release of her Blue album back in 1996. AT that time she was a 14-year old kid with a grown up voice, and I wondered if that sound would stay with her as she matured as a singer and as a person. Her latest album, Lady & Gentlemen, answers that question unequivocally. I thought that no one could improve upon George Jones' version of "He Stopped Loving Her Today," or Kris Kristofferson's "Help Me Make It Through The Night," but LeAnn has done just that. This is the best Country album to come along in a long, long time.

This is real deal country music singing that only LeAnn can produce. She is fantastic in every song and I hope she continues to make more music. I get lost in her voice and her interpretations of the old classics. Love you LeAnn - you are a country legend.

This is great country. Simple, not overproduced sounding like much of the poppish-country being made today. Even though she is all over the tabloids and gossip magazines these days, she has an amazing voice and redeemed country music a little bit with this album.

As is almost always the case, the old is always better than the new. Even when the old girl on the block was once a new girl on the block. Glad to see LeAnn doing covers again. Like her own stuff, but much prefer the old school. Whether it be Patsy or Willy or Kris, or? Old is always better. And they didn't have to repeat a catch phrase or word 53 times so they could make you and the DJ's understand what was written. The story is told and in this case LeAnn translates a very good story. 5 Stars

I've liked some of her previous efforts but not a fan of this. The arrangements are more jazz than country. It does not go with her voice at all. Hopefully she will release an album of new material next time. Great songs.....poor production.

I am really a huge fan of Leann Rimes infact I have heard each and every song she has composed to date and whenever I listened to each of her album I came across a totally different stuff which is truly a great deal for an artist like her all her songs are well composed from "Can't fight the moonlight" to "Safest place" all are mesmerising and enchanting tracks and Now she has returned back with a bang lol :D Umm I really liked her compositions in this album so far she has done a great deal of effort to sing these songs which are amazing I must say there are few I mean very few tracks which will divert your attention and makes you feel a little bored but above all the track which I liked personally in this album is "Give" She has really done a tremendous job on this track though I was charmed when I first heard it here on itunes but if you are confused to buy this album then you better not be she has got something new for you though!!!!! <3 <3

I downloaded the ballads from this album first but then after listening to the songs, I knew I had to come back to complete my album, it is really that good. :) Vince Gill should produce all of them for her. "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights" and "Give" are my two favorites. A good mix of sad and upbeat songs on this one, perfection. :)
