Now listen, i've been a fan of EXO for A minute, and in this minute I have listen to almost all of their songs and their albums. So let me just say this – this album beats almost all of the other albums and closes in the notorious exodus. This album is either a neck-at-neck with exodus or a little bit above but not by much. It definitely depends on the person, but this album is definitely up there with Exodus. And EXO even says that this is just the beginning and at the repackage will be better? People I'm just saying, this is the time to be an EXO fan. Every song is a literal Bop, OK?

EXO is amazing yall

The Eve is such a sexy song which isn't an uncommon concept by EXO. I have loved all of their albums thus far and only disliked one title track but other than that, their material is usually great. The packaging for this album fits a long with the popular tropical and tropical-house theme which I guess if it's trending it's safe to follow... The colour scheme in each of the versions is probably my favorite so far for EXO. I have followed them since their debut as well as many other groups such as BTS, UP10TION, Monsta X, DAY6, SVT and what I like about the majority of these groups and others is that they adapt to other concepts easily without going too far from the genre of music they started off with. Trends change over time but I don't feel like EXO have ever lost or forgotten who they are when producing or promoting an album.

A little different from typical SM fashion, EXO put out an album that experimented more so with its sound but retained the level of perfection in production and showed improvement in the vocal and rapping capabilities of the members. With NCT 127's most recent releases, we've been provided a very different, hip-hop/EDM oriented and experimental sound. The War brings to mind that experimentation but in a toned down, smoother package. Personally, I've found it hard to dislike any EXO songs, so I'll admit that there's some bias in me saying this is one of the best albums of the year solely because it builds on the current trends and provides the true SM caliber vocal capability that to me seals the deal. Vocally, they are audibly more stable than their also-awesome album Exodus and the rap is more natural and well suited, continuing from Exact. Production value is through the roof; I continue to love LDN Noise's production and hope to see them for the following comebacks. Going Crazy is a phenomenal song!

OUR KINGS SLAYED AGAIN😍😍😍

I haven't been into EXO for very long in all honesty, and I was really excited for this album. Surprisingly, it managed to exceed my expectations by masses. As someone with ADHD, I find it extremely hard to just sit and listen to an album song after song, but The War is the first album I've managed to do that with. Each song is better than the last, and there's no lapses in the talent EXO show through the album. If you're new to K-Pop or EXO, I would definitely recommend this album as your first listen. Ten out of ten, EXO have done it again. Kings.
