ok the r&b your all thinking of is soul music like Day 26's style except with more synth personally a light voice i samazing because it sooths my emotions and i prefer slow but this is pure genius from Bad Boy giving a smooth image to and R&B singer she might not have the loudest voice but look shes new to the game sometimes artists have to match the volume of the music i should know im an artist and producer it's hard and i give them credit. still i prefered Danity Kane but they are history so NEXT!! (Not to Cassie) (She can stay)

the only song i really like by her is "is it you" and its partly cuz its on step up 2. i dont hate her music but i dont think its worth buying!! there r better artist than her. but the 1 thing i like about her is her vioce is way different than anyone elses ive heard.

It sounds like her voice could have potential, if only she would start to actually sing, and the beats cover up her voice also. Long Way 2 Go was boring, because it wasn't even rap, she was literally rhythmlessly talking. Me & U had a bit more to it, but she still didn't use her voice. About Time is the hottest track here, not only because she sounds better, but it is catchier, more empowering, and no bad messages are in it. Kiss Me sounds a little like singer Tweet, where a little more soul is included. Overall, it isn't bad.

Cassie cant sing, we all know that. She has a nice voice and smooth tone, but she shows no emotion in her songs. Her voice in every song sounds the same. She has no high or low tones. They have great music and beat, they just gave away good tracks to a pretty lightskinned girl that cant sing.

Okay Cassie might not be the best singer in the world, but she has one of the best musicians in the game (R.Les) making sure this album is as good as it could be. Almost every song is catchy, Me & U in my opinion is not the best track at all, check out Just One Nite and Call U Out.

I only like "me & u" and the remix along with "long way to go" but otherwise this is a horrible cd. She cant sing nor dance. Im not hatin on her cuz i can't sing either. The industry is just trying to make an extra buck and find anybody to make an album. She needs to stick to modeling and maybe even acting (Didn't see step Up 2 but maybe she was good).

i bought the CD when it came out bcuz then i didnt know bout downloading n crap. Its not bad of a CD is just that Cassie would proley b better as a backup singer. She does hit notes here n there but most of the time her vocals r either weak or not reachn it. I still like this CD but ima just give it 3 starsz.

This album is very smoothe. I love albums were not just the singles are hot. And this album proved it. She always had attractive beats and her voice is very soothing.

Cassie really can sing, and shes pretty hawt, but don't buy the album. I really like Me&U and Long way 2 go but none of the others are really worth buying. just buy the songs, and the videos aren't bad either. toodles!

The only thing that makes this album tolerable is the stellar production from Ryan Leslie. I'll be looking for the instrumental version.

I 100% love the song, ME & U. It is great and i listen to it a million times a day. Her other songs are good but not as good as ME & U. Keep on written Cassie, and i will keep listening!!

I cannot belieave people are saying her music isn't good. Her voice probably isn't good but with the remixes ind stuff, I would have to say this albim is awsome. I would totley buy this album

There are two sides to the argument whether Cassie deserves her huge fame or not. One side says that she cannot sing whatsoever, that she is a wannabe, and made songs just to make money. The other side says that these songs are perfectly catchy and pop/hip-hop stations aren't all about great singing ability anyway. I agree with the second side. Me & U was one of the biggest songs of the summer in 2006, and I congratulate her in her success. It takes a lot of courage to post your songs on a site and hope that they catch on, knowing that many people will not like your music, because there's always people like that. Long Way 2 Go, the next single, is a bit more powerful, but it seems that Cassie trys to rap and sing at the same time. Surprisingly, it works very well. My favorites on here are About Time and Kiss Me. About Time has some good lyrics, whether she wrote them or not, and her voice comes through. Kiss Me is very seductive, and, once again, her voice absolutely shines. This self-titled debut proves that she doesn't have a huge vocal range, but she at least has talent.

I did not buy this album, i just listened to the 30 second listenings, and all of her songs sound exacly the same, There is no difference between any of them.

This Album in my opinion is TRASH!! I mean, ME & U and Long Way 2 Go are probably the most decent songs on the album. This girl have absolutely NO TALENT!!! In this generation, they pick singers based on their looks, not on vocals, because believe it or not, looks are what promotes the CD. Think about it!!

Cassie may not shake the walls when she sings but its about the package. The album has great production and her voice has a way of floating on the tracks. You can dance to all songs and thats makes for great mood music. She definitely an artist so for all you haters step off.

Yeah I play a few of her songs, and sometimes mix them in when I'm DJing but that's about it. She can't sing, and that's what makes this rating tough. Ryan Leslie and Puff made great beats and a nice package, but a girl with actual talent could have really made this album a lot better. Do not buy this album, Me and U is the only track your collection needs, and if you are under 14 years old, feel free to download "Long Way 2 Go" as well. If you want talented female artists with fun albums, try Danity Kane's "Welcome to the Dollhouse" and Britney's "Blackout."
