The neo-classical/epica genre has a lot of excellent artists these days, but Thomas Bergersen is by far my favorite. I've been a huge TSfH fan for quite some time, and I've also enjoyed Nick and Thomas' solo albums; after Illusions, I couldn't wait for a sequal. It took three or four years, but Sun does not disappoint! I've been listening to it on repeat for the last couple of days. Some of my favorite tracks are Sun, Cry, Fearless, New Life, In Paradisium, Final Frontier, and Creation of Earth. It's definitely one of my favorite albums already. I highly recommend checking it out!

Just so we’re clear, Thomas Bergersen is a god among men. That said, Sun is worth every penny, every bated breath, every agonizing moment waiting for its release (and yes, I’m glaring lovingly at you, Thomas, for making us wait so long). Beautiful, ethereal, truly the songs of the soul. Sun, like Illusions before it, is absolutely flawless.

There really aren’t any words to describe Thomas’s music. You simply cannot listen to his music and not feel something. I cannot listen to this album and not feel emotionally fantastic afterwards. This was totally worth the years we all waited for this work of pure genius to be released. In other words, if you’d like to experience the sheer power of music, get this album!

Thomas Bergersen is the only artist that I would pre-order an album from. His work is incomparable to anything else produced today and I’m certain Sun will be no exception. I consider it Techno Classical. You’ve heard it in movie trailers and just didn’t know it was Mr. Bergersen. His music moves, inspires and calms. Empire of Angels is beautiful. Check out all the work of Thomas and Two Steps From Hell. You will be blessed.

I’ve only known of Thomas from his work on East/West demos. Even those were amazing.. Today when I watched the final trailer for Interstellar, (the only film I’ve wanted to see this year, period) - The music owned the whole experience. Absolutely inspiring

I never write reviews, but I had to. This music quite literally creates a whole new level of the human experience. Even with only three pieces released thus far, I am a raving fan!

Words cannot describe this music, so I will simply suffice to say that it is flawless, emotional, and truly awesome. I am still not sure yet if I like “Sun” or “Illusions” better, but time will tell. I am now just holding out for the special deluxe release in early 2015.

Just two more days until the full album releases, and I am READY! The song "Sun" is awesome, "Final Frontier" is good, and "Empire of Angels" is one of the greatest tracks ever written!! Can't wait for the rest of the album!!!!!

I don’t listen to classical mostly which is typical for a teenager. well I was looking for a song for a film project I’m working on and I found this beautiful thing. Basically just try it before you judge it for being in the classical part of iTunes.

I bought this without hesitation, as I've been waiting for Sun forever. Since I've gotten it, I've been listening to it on repeat again and again. The songs are just so fantastic that my mind plays along with them. Listing my favorites is pointless, because I'd literally just be writing down the whole album.

You don't have to settle working to score music for movies, when deep down music is suppose to come from your heart and not the heart of a movie theme. I'm thankful for John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Alan Silvestri because they were true pioneers to this market of music. Today however we have the chance to make this brand of music into a category on it's own where people will no longer be forced to hear your music only after watching a movie but rather purposely search for your music because they want to hear your music in it's entirety. I have waited so long for this album and I can say it does not disappoint! It is amazing and that is a huge statement since it had a lot to live up to with Illusions. The album has so much emotion and I can see why he waited so long to put it out there because you can tell the amount of heart, work, and though that went into this album. Simply beautiful, epic, amazing and well worth the wait. Now we will have to make this album last until the next one comes out. LOL!!

Every time I listen to anything Thomas Bergersen has any part of, I think no- thing could ever surpass it. And I'm wrong every time. Perhaps he's an angel sent to give us a foretaste of Heaven.
