I have loved Brett since the very beginning he is such a great singer and performer. I love how the songs on the album show every emotion and each song has a story. His first album is great and this one topped it. Wanna be that song, Shadow, and if you were my girl are my favorite songs on the album. He is definitely the next big thing in country music. I can't wait to see what else he is going to have in the future. Brett doesn't sound like everyone else and that's what I love about him and his music I recommend this album to anyone that loves country music. ❤️

I can’t stand your music or voice

I just start loving country music, I already know some of them like Luke Bryan, Hunter Hayes, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves and more. And than i found Brett Eldredge! This guy have a big talent in country music. “Wanna Be That Song" was one of my fav song from him!👌🏻👌🏻

This album is not a country album. There goes another country talent turning into pop instead of sticking to their roots. A few good songs in there, and I only say that cause I don’t mind other genres. If you’re into the country turned pop, this is a great album. But for true country, he cannot be considered a country artist anymore.

I liked a few of Brett’s songs, then I heard he was releasing “Illinois”. I thought I’d give him a shot and bought the whole album. Wow! I love every song on this album. It’s mostly upbeat with some lovestruck melodies along the way. Overall.. I would recommend this album for current Brett fans and newbies looking for some good new music to tickle their ears.

Updated Review (after album release): Very, very, very great album! Best country album of the year, in my opinion (so far). Best Songs: "If You Were My Girl", "Fire", "Lose My Mind", "Lose it All", and "Wanna Be That Song". No songs are bad on this album. Definitely a must-have for any country/music listener. Solid 9/10 and huge recommendation.

I liked his last album but I listened to some of the previews and was very dissapointed. There goes another great talent i thoiught was different from the rest getting destroyed by Nashville unfortunately. I would not recommend this album to pure country fans. PLEASE Brett next time get back to your roots and no more auto tune especially on Lose My Mind.
