Appearantly me & Meth disagree on what a good instrumental is...lyrics are always great though. Meth try a more action-packed cinematic type beat, or ask RZA like old times. And drop the weed

Was excited to see Meth’s return, big WU fan from day 0, but after previewing all of the song I am not going to spend money on an album heavy laden with feature after feature hoping to catch a lyrical glimpse of Meth. On top of that I think older artist should talk about life lessons and what they learned growing up, in the industry, or something more constructive than middle aged men rapping about drugs, guns, and gangster life knowing that they aren’t really about that life. Q: How are you the 'Master' if you don’t ever learn constructive growth, and become willing to do what it takes to help steer our broken youth into a better direction? Grow up. Disappointed.

Ferocious beats and grimey lyrics what you expect from Meth n the Wu. Definitely one of the best albums I've heard in the last couple years.

- Hanz On/Streetlife album?

I have not warmed up to Hanz On and Streetlife yet, and this feels like their album and not Method Man. When I see that Meth has a new solo I want Meth, not a bunch of guest MCs. The highlights are Straight Gutta & Two minutes of your time (all meth on this short track) The purple tape is also a banging Wu reunion track with the chef & deck laying it down. I may purchase these 3 songs but I’ll leave the rest of the Hanz On & Streetlife tracks for those that like them. Give me more Method Man!

Why isn't this getting any attention? I listened to this and it bums me out man. Meth should be blowing social media up. Hands down Method Man is severely underrated.

- Well it's definitely Method Man but...

While I agree with some that for a "Method Man" album, this really doesn't have enough of Method Man, and that there are definitely too many features on here (I mean, why didn't he just join a group and make a record if he was gonna pull something like this? Did he feel like he couldn't make albums by himself anymore?) But despite all that, everyone on here spits fire, included Method Man, so honestly, I can't really complain. At least Method ain't sharing songs with just anybody like Raekwon did on Fly International Luxurious Art (that was just depressing).

This album is great!!!! Really enjoyed it because I love the old school hip hop feel and I definitely got that! The only song I wasn't feeling was track 4 but other than that it was great. Definitely check it out.

- Too many features, not enough Meth

This shouldn't be considered a Method Man album, it's more like a mixtape or compilation album. The only good parts of this album are when Meth is on the mic but those moments are too few and far between.

- This Method Man album would be better with more Method Man

Method Man is a legend, and he still has one of the best flows of all time, but he sounds like a guest on his own album here. There are some 4 minute tracks where he’s only on it for 20 seconds. There are way too many mediocre emcees taking the front seat on these songs. The beats are solid, but they sound cheap and unoriginal. It’s not the worst stuff he’s ever done, but it’s far from the best. Cut this bloated one hour album down to only Meth’s verses and you have a solid 15 minute EP. Also, can iTunes stop allowing all these five star reviews from people who haven’t even heard the album yet? Method is better than this.

Few albums worth the money these days, but this is one of them. Mef, Rae, and Deck continue to be the reigning Kings of the group as far as putting out quality music. Respect due.

I 5 starred it because instrumentals are included. More artists from ALL genres should really include instrumentals, but especially hip-hop and rock artists.

I heard on The Breakfast Club that this is just supposed to show case his nephews and other local artists from Staten Island. He has another album that's supposed to come out later this year or early next year that's all Meth.

I've heard that this is more like a compilation showcasing Staten Island rappers along with some notable features. This explains all the people on the album. Method Man's actual album will be called 'Crystal Meth'. I will support both projects bcuz this is my favorite rapper of all time. 👐🏾 forever.

- Great album, but why do I need the instrumentals???

I've been listening to Meth since high school and this is his best album since judgement day. The production is tops! I just don't want the instrumentals. I gave it 4 stars for value because its just padded for and extra $5.

Look, no one has more Wu albums than I do. This one is booty. It sounds lazy and uninspired, the beats are canned, the lyrical delivery is at "inside voice" volume. There's nothing that shines on this album, it's just going through the motions. Some songs aren't bad (which isn't a compliment), but others are straight SAD. Half the lines are just referencing classic Wu singles/albums. What the heck? You make crappy jams talking about how good you used to be? Does Sunset Boulevard ring a bell?
