I mean, it's Pentatonix so it's fabulous, but I feel like 90% of the solos are Scott, and I would like to hear more of a balance. Mitch is too talented to just be backup and I feel like he wasn't showcased on this album at all

I love pentatonix as a band but I feel like it wasn't their best work. What drags this down for me is chorus in many of the songs. I feel like most of the time they are better on their own.

I loved it they do a cover on some songs and when they do they put their own twist on it and it goes from boring to amazing when they do it. I also had my sister try it and she thought it was better then the real song I am blown away

In all seriousness, these guys are among the very few a cappella groups that totally rock out with everything they’ve got. Their stuff is AWESOME. However, I still don’t get why they’re not called Penatonix, considering its musical definition (pentatonic scale and all that). I actually thought that was their name at first. Doesn’t matter, I guess. God bless Pentatonix and may you guys continue to rock out for years to come! P.S. I would LOVE to see a collaboration album of Pentatonix and Rockapella, another favorite group of mine. That would be sheer brilliance!!!

OK SO THIS WAS THE BEST THING EVER. I'm glad that they have THEIR OWN album instead of covering somebody else's. But there are some covers on the deluxe version, which are STILL FLAWLESS. Their covers are amazing of course, and it's great to have new and original material. The songs are really well written and have positive meanings to them. Don't think that there are only upbeat songs, because even though quite a bit of them are upbeat, Light In The Hallway is a lullaby/ballad which was absolutely gorgeous. Can't Sleep Love was really successful, which is not a huge surprise since the song is ONE OF THE BEST ONES ON THERE. Also lemme say, Scott got a lot of solos but I wish there were more opportunities for Mitch or Kirstin or Avi or even Kevin. But Mitch's voice is THE PRETTIEST and he slays all of it. And Kirstin slayed Water. And Scott slayed Cracked. GET IT IMMEDIATELY!!!!! I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET IT

This album is fire. I've always loved how great Pentatonix was, they're so talented. But I remember asking myself with a solo album be any good? What would there songs be like and I also remember seeing this new album and thinking about how I had a long plane ride the next day and let me check them out on the flight and the whole flight I was jammin out to this so hard, it's amazing. Better than I expected they blew me away. I'll always think back to that trip when I listen to this album and remember good times. I love Pentatonix they are so insanely talented. I recommend this album to anyone

I dont even know how good this is, Pentatonix is SOOOOOO talented and every single one of their songs on this Album are easily better then the top 10 songs on top charts!!!!!!!!!!!! Even from later (i pre-ordered it before the 16th of October) i still listen to it a billion times a day also make To The River available on iTunes that's the only reason the rating is 4 stars.

This album is absolutely amazing! The fact that they have made a song with Jason Derulo shows just how far they've come from being a small band on a TV show. The songs on this album are all so creative and different. From the loud beats of Ref, to the slowness of Light In The Hallway, this band has shown a lot of people that you don't need instruments to make music. Definitely A BIG YES! Can't sleep love sounds amazing! It's such a chilled and yet addictive song. Pentatonix have done it again with their pure voices and intricate vocal arrangements. I'm dying to hear them on mainstream radio, worldwide.

Regularly better covers than the originals. This album is mostly written by or for Pentatonix. Better than most of the stuff on radio now and just as accessible. I love the different moods on this album from the poppy singles to the almost madrigal Light in the Hallway. Sing! if great, as are Water, New Years Day and Take Me Home. All their voices are showcased well, but I must admit my fave thing is to turn it up loud in my car and let Avi and Kevin attempt to blow out the bass with their amazing rhythm section. Will be my go to album for a while to come. Outstanding work guys!

This album is amazing! Pentatonix has grown & matured so much as a group & you can hear it on this album. I'm so impressed that this album is almost entirely their own original work. Can't Sleep Love, Sing & Misbehavin' are so catchy, Rose Gold is flawless, & Scott sounds so good on Cracked. I just wish they got radio play in Australia, they deserve it!

I was going by their other albums when I pre-ordered it, but this has surpassed anything I dreamed it would be! It is amazing and good to sing or dance to with some lovel slower songs as well. It is perfect blend of accapella and Pop in an exciting way!!! I Love it SO MUCH!!!

A truly eclectic album that will have you stomping your feet, clapping your hands and at times, crying. So impressive and creative.

The new Pentatonix Album brings high energy, catchy melodies that will have you shocked that it's completely acapella and leave you singing the songs for day, all the while putting mainstream acapella back into the spotlight. With Scott Hoying taking the lead on the album, his high range voice blows us away, especially during his powerful riffs and notes. Hoying is supported by a powerful basso profondo with Avi Kaplan, who's voice is smooth and powerful and makes the song fuller, Mitch Grassi and Kirstin Maldonado who both reach high notes we didn't know possibly and harmonise until we have chills, and even though all 3 singers have completely different voices, they sound amazing and so compatible together. The group is brought to life and carried through each song by the wildly talented Kevin "KO" Olulsola, who's intense best boxing is none like you've heard before. This album makes you want to clap your hands and stomp your feet, with its upbeat music inspired from Motown and 90's RnB music that will have the songs stuck in your head for weeks. The album is catchy, cleverly written and beautifully arranged and you'll be stunned by the compilation of music. Whilst I recommend listening to every single song, some suggestions of my personal favourites would be: Misbehavin', Cracked, Take Me Home, New Years Day and Light in the Hallway This new Pentatonix album makes acapella music cool again and creates an opportunity for acapella bands to come forward. 10/10 listen.
