Candy-O, Great album. tough to live up to the debut, but perfect follow up, another classic. Saw them live at the boston garden, shake it up tour. Great time, love em, but didn't think the we're a very good live band. Still, made Boston proud. Lot's of great tunes on this album, the well known ones and also the ones in between. I'm rambling cause i'm a big fan, as you might have guessed lol.

I used to own this album and continue to hear many of its songs on the radio but today I just relisened to the whole thing and have got to say this is one amazing album. It holds up well over almost 40 years, is still very unique and basically rocks out. What a great album.

This album is just as good now as it was 40 years ago. Besides having solid beats and lyrics, The Cars absolutely mastered “the fade” from one song to the next, a detail not lost on those of us who grew up listening to ALBUMS, not one song. It sounds awesome on the apple earbuds... takes me back to high school.💕💕

I know what people are going to say....but sorry this is my favorite. Dangerous Type, Candy-O and Double Life are underrated songs. This album is just plain fun and great for road trips.

Been listening to this album since it’s release in ‘79 and it’s still great 44 years later. Try it with headphones on while walking on the treadmill- perfect!

The music, lyrics, the production and especially the album cover ROCKS!!
