I truly believe the Kinks are one of the most, if not THE most underrated bands of the British Invasion. Their songwriting and musicianship are incredible. This album signaled a turning point in their sound; and it was definitely for the better. If you enjoy classic rock without the psychedelic tinges, this is a masterwork in an impressive discography.
