This was one of the first three CDs I ever bought. My 1987 issue sounds like crap. This sounds amazing, and the bonus tracks are great. I always thought they sped up Stevie Nicks vocals on seven wonders and the earlier alternate version confirms that
lots of beats and sound effects. However the chemistry and magic is lost. The origanal albulm is one of a kind and should not be messed with.
This is not the Fleetwood Mac album I remembered. I loved and played that record through college. Change is not always good. Some of the songs even sound like cover songs! Very disappointed. Wish there was option for original album.
The extra tracks don't add much to the original.
❤️
I couldn't wait FINALLY for a remaster of the studio version of Big Love. The sound is exactly the same as the old 1987 cd and their greatest hits cd from 1988. Ugh! Maybe the actual cd of the deluxe version is better?
Been enjoying this one since ‘87.
YAY finally.... Ricky!!! I've played out several 45s just for that song! So glad it finally showed up here! Would love to have a release if the 45 as it was... Little Lies/Ricky... I adore the original version. Hey Janna didya find it too? 💜 u P... wanna dance? Thanks FM for finally releasing "Ricky" to iTunes! Would love the original version as well, but I do like the remaster!
i was born in 78 and my mom has been playing all the goodies like this group throughout my whole life!!! i love fleetwood mac, stevie nicks, tina turner, michael jackson etc. i was raised on music like this.. LOVE LOVE LOVE...
Things sound upfront and in your face... Levels seem exagerated and the dynamics of the orignal masterpiece seem to be lost.
THANK U FOR THIS REMASTER! My old CD version from wayyy back was lacking in sound quality when played in a mix with the other FM albums. Remixes are fun as it was popular at the time in the late 80's. None of this is "filler" except maybe the "dubs". lol The alternate/demo versions are cool and interesting to hear for a big time Fleetwood Mac fan like me. All the B-sides are here too. This being my favorite album after Rumors, was truly a real TREAT in the fact that the ORIGINAL album cuts are clear and "even" with the rest of my Itunes library. Now it's all - Perfection!

The Juliet run-through is the same as the bootleg we've had for ages but it's great to hear it not cut off at the end. I love the Mystified instrumental, and I absolutely loathed the album version. The remastered album itself sounds nice and crisp and fresh, I'm sure the instrumants all stand out a little more - like there's more space in between them. It reminds me of when I first played the LP back in 1987. Also Isn't it Midnight (Alt. version)isn't the version from The Chain box-set. I notice a lot of extra harmonizing on this new alt. version. The remastered Caroline is sublime, those drums and that bass are unnaturally awesome. I can't believe how much smoother all these remasters sound, streets ahead of the "Very Best of" remastered versions that were done back years ago.
This has always been a beautiful sounding album but now it sound's just like it's meant to, what I found most amazing about this new mix and remaster is you can hear ALL these vocals and instruments that were originally buried under the mix and without sounding too different, what's even better for me is that Lindsey's guitars sound more present and in a lot of cases you hear all the extra background guitar noises Lindsey does so well, Even though Christine plays a lot of synth keyboards and piano Lindsey has played along with her and in most cases just himself somehow making his guitar sound like keyboards ( checkout Little Lie's ), Both Christine McVie & Lindsey Buckingham were at the top of their game, Lindsey had cleaned up his past addictions so was playing better then ever, Poor Stevie only came up with a few songs as she wasn't too good around the recording of this album [she just got out of the Betty Ford clinic breaking her cocaine addiction which got so bad she now has a hole in her nose cartilage, so it changed her voice a bit, but unfortunetly she swapped that addiction with strong pain tablets] on top of Stevie being high she also hated working/recording at Lindsey's house (what made her feel really uncomfortable is that all the vocals were recorded in Lindsey and his girlfriend's bedroom) It's amazing just like Rumours this album was made at all (Mick was almost broke and living on Lindsey's front lawn in a big caravan and was still addicted to cocaine and alcohol, John McVie was also falling into his alcohol addiction, so apart from Stevie all the band members wanted and needed this album and it's their 2nd best album so far, just listen to Mick Fleetwood's thunder drums on the song "Tango In The Night" not really a filler on this album even the extra tracks are pretty good, Top Songs are : Big Love, Little Lies, Everywhere,Caroline, Isn't It Midnight, Tango In The Night, Seven Wonders, Other's that grow on you is Christine's Mystified and Lindsey's Family Man, Stevie's Welcome To The Room Sara is a very personal song about her friend and it's a good song but it's not her best, Otherwise this is one of their best
Tango in The Night was the best offering from Fleetwood since the legendary Rumours album (1977). This version with all its extended and alternative mixes promises to be an awesome addition to my vinyl, CD and iTunes library copy of this brilliant album!! Seriously "I can't wait" (yes, is reference to Stevie's single from Rock a Little)

I believe this is a 5 CD set - 2 discs are missing - why?
When most people think Fleetwood Mac they probably think Rumours. However this is their 80's mega selling CD which is long overdue a delux re-release. Its good to see all the different remixes included which are very difficult to find. This is very good news
This song is fantastic & should be released as a single, as it should've been in '87.
love this album, still play it.....
Bout time it was remastered this album 👍🏻 just one more left cant wait
