Speechless. So awesome. Like I can't even begin on how amazing this is some of the songs made me cry when I went to go see the movie my mom it's just amazing.
I love this movie it is great. I love the beginning of the movie to kida like he flashes forward to when the circus is going l great with productions and he knows that he is going to be great and i absolutely love this music it gets sad at sometimes but I love โFrom know onโ it sounds like it he is rising up from the dead and is getting back up and fighting for his family, his dream, and his life, and those of others. I get a great understanding oh this movie and Iโm only 10 years old. Oh and the people who donโt give this movie below 5 stars is a picky little munchkin!!!!!!! In the same way that I enjoyed the film; Iโve also enjoyed the original album. The songs in this album remind me of the film every time I listen to it. I donโt find that the percussion/background sounds shadow the lyrics to any of the songs. Keep in mind the central theme to the story is the circus, this explains the choice to raise the percussion levels. The songs together tell the story of the film (all are great) but my favorite songs are: Come Alive, The Greatest Show, The Other Side and Never Enough.
TightRope is my favorite song. Itโs so touching for me and my mother and father. I think that something my dad takes a little to much risks but my mom is always there to support him in anyway she can!

Admittedly, I downloaded this for my daughter months ago but had never listened to it until the other day. I knew I already loved "This is Me", but I never gave the album a chance to wow me... until I saw the movie a few days ago. Since then, I've been obsessed with this album, its songs and the lyrics. Relevant and entertaining, joyous and emotional, the songs, like the score are some of the best ever written for a musical. If there is one down side I would say that I really wish they had included the best parts of John Debney's spectacular score on this album. Maybe one day... Do yourself a favor. Download this album.

I love the music but it doesn't work well with other music. Like if you want to shuffle your music and listen to other song with them then you have a major problem. Theses song play to low compared to all the other music on my iPod. Like I will be walking down the street listening to music when I don't hear music anymore and I look at the iPod and be like oh a song is playing so I turn up the sound. Once the song changes over to the next song then the music is blaring in my ears. Another problem is that the sound within the album is at different volumes to. Jackman will be singing away and I can barley hear him and as the song goes on for another 30secs he finally gets louder where you can finally hear him clearly. He is still not as loud as my other music so it's best to just listen to this album when your just listening to these songs.

I have not seen the movie nor do I intend to- but the soundtrack speaks for itself: BEAUTIFUL! I bought the whole thing and listened to it and I swear the story is in the music, fully there and ready to be conveyed through the songs. I didnโt know it was a movie until later; I thought it was a new Broadway show or something. I love how this soundtrack just takes your emotions on a ride. Itโs impossible to choose my favourite songs without selecting 2/3 of the soundtrack LOL!
There are very few albums that I buy in their entirety, but this was a noted exception. This album is excellent!

Wow what can I say!! I have never enjoyed musicals but this - wow this is amazing! The casting, the soundtrack , the story line, the cinematography!! This soundtrack and movie grab you from the opening second and every moment steals your heart. Magnificent! A stellar cast lead by the only person who could do this โ greatest showโ the justice it so deserves. Take your hat off to the incomparable Hugh Jackman!
I normally donโt like musicals but this was something else. The music feels inspiring.

Heard the music before I ever saw the film as I normally detest Musicals (Phantom excluded) but enjoyed the music so much I watched the film and really enjoyed it. All the songs are so catchy and capture the essence of the cast so well. I would suggest everyone to look up Katherine Jenkins cover of Never Enough - what a voice!
