Judas Priest - FIREPOWER Reviews

  • Firepower is as close to classic Priest as you can get

    By Definitelyarocker
The Priest is back, they have done all the right things on this album. This album sounds more like classic Priest as Priest can get. From Track 1 to Track 14 you get a wide range of different sounds from different eras in Priests career. After listening to this album a couple of times I can confidently & comfortably be happy to say this as more than an improvement on their last album probably a good part of it comes down to the fact Tom Allom (Judas Priest long time producer) is back behind the mix board. If you are a Judas Priest fan pick this up. My faith has been restored in the band. Welcome back to form Metal Gods!

Great album, front to back. They brought it! Some great metal albums recently: Hardwired, Dystopia, and now Firepower! Look forward to seeing this tour.
  • Best Album In Some Time!!

Be sure to check out the song “Sea Of Red”, which is apparently about D-Day. Great lyrics and a great tribute to those fallen of the greatest generation. Also, love the harmonizing, not leaving all the singing up to Halford, not that he isn’t capable, I just think it adds depth to their songs.

Simply put, a great guitar record. The wife and daughter’s caught me with my headphones on playing air guitar, I was awesome. They didn’t think so, oh well.
  • It’s priest

    By Mon73er
This is priest, no buts about it. It sounds like a do-over of pain killer, but done with restraint.
  • Hello world the Priest is back!

    By Stevey B.
It blows my mind that this band still puts out amazing material to bang your head to. The amazing guitar riffs, pounding drums, fat bass tone, and well, the metal god are able to send one into a rockstar crazed fantasy. It simply pulled the air guitar out of me. With songs such as “Evil Never Dies,” “Traitors Gate,” and “Necromancer,” one can simply feel at peace knowing that Priest put out yet another amazing masterpiece. If this is their last, what a great way to go out. Long live Judas Priest heavy metal! \m/
  • Traitors Gate!!
