I feel like everyone here is hating on their songs just because most people hate on The Chainsmokers and people feel like they need to follow the crowd to be "cool" or whatever. These songs are honestly way better than 90% of the songs that play on the Pop Hits stations on the radio. I don't know what everyone here is talking about.🤷‍♀️

When Closer was the only song playing on the radio, I hated it because of how shallow it was. Out of sheer luck I click on Sick Boy to see if it was any good. Immediately I loved it because of how easily they incorporated deep messages with amazing beats. Their new music is literally the best thing ever and I’m so glad that I found it. I’m proud of them for speaking to issues that are current with their lives and how the world is right now. They don’t just ignore issues, but they work through them with their music. It’s awesome. And to every other comment that says Drew can’t sing, just because he hasn’t before doesn’t mean he can’t now. His voice is amazing and majestic. Leave the man alone, he’s depressed for God’s sake.

I love the ep, not all the songs on here are a masterpiece, but sick boy felt a little too short, and u owe me could’ve been a little better, but each song carries a message in it that I was able to connect with and relate to in a big way, and I absolutely fell in love with everybody hates me and somebody, I feel like they both are excellent songs that helped carry me through a dark time in my life, all in all, this ep made me like the chainsmokers, and I like the new direction they’re heading in...

It's interesting how polarized the audience is on this. This is a great standalone EP that contains a raw, unique form of expression. I feel like they stayed authentic on this one, when they easily could have sold out following the success of Closer. Drew has a valid story to tell and him singing helps me feel like I'm getting to know the real The Chainsmokers more. Keep staying true to yourself guys, don't worry about the hurtful comments. They aren't in the arena.

Okay, it’s a decent EP, but one problem, why autotune? Sick Boy is an eh, You Owe Me doesn’t seem that good, Everybody Hates Me is great, and Somebody is a little great. The guys have a pretty good EP. Oh, and the haters, they seem naughty.

The Chainsmokers plateaued at Closer then went downhill from there, imo. Drew needs to stop singing and they need to find other guest singers and go back to their early days when their music was actually good.

Somebody is a great dance song. Sounds original and smooth. Wonderful nightclub atmosphere melody.
