This cast is so gorgeous. Idk what I was expecting but this superseded my expectations BY FAR
I absolutely love the show and... god this soundtrack is so good! The mix of modern songs and the Spring Awakening soundtrack work so well together. Everyone’s voices really hit the mark. They’re all so talented!!! I’ll never get over how amazing this cast is. I can’t get enough of them!!
All of their voices are incredible!! I really hope NBC will reconsider and give Rise a second season.

This album is absolutely beautiful and incredibly bittersweet for a show that was canceled before it ever got a chance. Love Spring Awakening. Love this show. I wish NBC would reconsider or another company like Hulu or Netflix would pick it up. Again great album.

Having been a theater rat in high school, this show rang a lot of bells for me right out of the gate, and RISE did a wonderful job capturing the best of what theater can do for troubled kids and misfits in high school, providing a perfect means for self-expression, confidence building, and a sense of belonging and success that all go a long way towards healing the slings & arrows of the painful transition from childhood to adulthood. But RISE exceeds even that. The actual show the kids do, Spring Awakening, has fantastic, entertaining, and moving songs, and the actresses and actors delivering them for NBC are exceedingly talented. I will enjoy having this soundtrack - and I rarely buy soundtracks! If this (or any) production of Spring Awakening were to show on a stage near me, I’d go to as many nights as I could. It’s that good: RENT for those of high school age. Given the way they wrote out the finale show, I’m not sure how NBC could believably renew RISE for another season, which would almost have to (and should) involve mounting another production without it seeming contrived - but I sincerely hope that they figure something out. RISE and its talented cast definitely deserve an encore! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Terrible. An album as banal and contrived as the liberal nonsense spewed on this now-cancelled show.
