I was turned on by the vocals, but turned off by the use of electronics to replicate rhythm and melody. I guess they gave up on playing 'real' instruments in high school. Nice drippy harp on the cover!

"I like me better when I'm with you." is a great start toward a feel great tune for the summer. There are a few other decent tunes on this album. However, there is way too much repetition of the lyrics during certain songs, and the background arrangement or beat seems wayyyyy to similar from some songs to others, way to repetitive to make the album stick. Just not enough originality from song to song, from singing style, cadence, and tenor of the songs. Having said this, he has a great voice and should pursue more collaborations outside the comfort zone, R & B, Country, etc.
