The amount of misunderstanding of Lecrae is worrisome to me for he is a shinning example of a faithful servant of Christ. He is not what people want but he is what Jesus wants and he also makes legendary music that moves the entire music industry on the planet. Jesus has a really good one with Lecrae and our team is good because we have him in the fight for us. Jesus is at the Lecrae’s life and he will not loose or fail in his lifetime because the Lamb has written His name in heaven and will hold him close until the day of redemption by the power of the Passion of the Crucifixion and the Blood of Jesus Christ.

In my opinion, I think this album is pretty good. There are certain songs I kind of disagree with; and that is specifically to blue strips. First, I feel like this song, “blue strips” is doing no more than imitating worldly rappers, ( just my opinion) but overall I think the album is great. But I tho k it could honestly be better. Keep it up Lecrae!! 👍👍

I previously reviewed this album and have to disagree with myself (lol). After a second listen, it’s not half bad! I think he’s offering up some raw stuff and don’t think he is turning away from God at all. After all, as Lecrae has said many times, God is his faith, not his music. This is alright. I am a fan of Lecrae and all but I think his best work was Rebel. This isn’t bad or anything. It has a good sound too it. I will give it that. Not bad but top notch? No not for me. But still is alright.

This album is amazing! If you are a Lacrae fan you’re going to like it. Crae fans are also his biggest critics! It’s like no matter what he produces there’s no pleasing some of you. Last time I checked the word of God is for everyone. If Crae collaborates with a another artist it doesn’t mean he’s changed if they are not a Christian rapper. If you don’t like the album then just listen to something else like Anomaly, Rebel, or All things work together.

Great music! This is the kind of mainstream music we need not all that other trash. This doesn’t sound like worldly music at all! Just listen to some of the lyrics of secular rapp songs and compare it to lecrae’s. Lecrae is doing a great job of spreading the gospel. You can’t spread the gospel by staying in your own your Christian bubble. SPREAD IT TO THE SICK. Keep it up lecrae!

The hardcore Christian rap fans and young kids giving this album 1-2 stars need to be open to change. Lecrae has arguably sounded the same with some pretty churchy driven rap songs dominating his career. This album finally provides a more secular sounding album, but still provides a strong moral base. Lecrae hasn’t changed his moral foundation, but is helping others who would NEVER, touch Christian rap music become more open to at least hearing about Jesus. Lecrae if you ever read this, please make another album like this. Those that don’t appreciate the sound change can go back to the old albums which for the most part all sound the same.

I'm not saying I don't like Lecrae, in fact I love him and his music. HOWEVER, this album and the last are just not quite what they used to be. He's lost his flair, creativity, and uniqueness. While he's trying to match up more with the secular rappers to appeal to others that he didn't appeal to before, he's just gone to far, every song in his album sounding the same. Look at it this way: His last 3 album covers have been in black and white. While maintaining his spiritual clarity and definition, like a black and white picture, he's lost his interest, his color. While still getting the message out, Lecrae is just not where he was in his older, and in my opinion better, albums such as Gravity, Anomaly, and Rehab. We'll have to see in his next album, but for now I'll stick with the original stuff.

Been a Crayola fan since 2003. Seen his lyrics get more pop and shallower over the years. This album being the best example. But nearly every track is a hit and head banger too.

- Give Him a Chance

Lecrae is a pioneer in Christian music and especially Christian Rap. I love his sound and his heart. I saw him in concert recently, and he puts out fire music💥. My problem with secular rap is that I like feeling good and being built up when I listen to music and I don’t like all the cussing so being able to turn on Lecrae and get a popular and modern sound but with lyrics that build me up is really a irreplaceable feeling. This project maybe isn’t full of hits for me like your other albums, but still has some great rhymes with heavy lyrics. I love it! Also I’ve been a fan since the beginning! I started listening to you when I was 9 during Rebel! I guess that’s not the true beginning but I love Lecrae!

I love the messages. Not all of them, but I feel this album is more unashamed then ATW in terms of content. That being said, most of these songs sound the exact same. I know they worked hard, but this definitely is not my favorite album of his. But good on him to experiment!
