Nancpit - This Album Will Inspire YOU !I have been a lifetime fan of Elvis Presley. No matter if he is singing rock, pop, country or gospel, he reaches me! I have listened to different versions of all of these songs for many, many years, but I truly enjoyed each and every one of these. I played the album pretty much all afternoon while I did house work and exercised. In my book, nobody can reach a listener like Elvis Presley. Elvis is powerful and when he sings, you feel it.

Ok that is pretty much the whole album! Common denominator is “inspirational and sacred”. This album will inspire you and touch you!
The other songs are tops and some of my all time favorites. If you are a history buff of Elvis, you will know that he absolutely LOVED to sing I John and Bosom of Abraham with his friends, band and back up singers. If you watch Elvis on Tour you will see them signing these as warm up and cool down songs and all in between. He loved them!!
So if you want to feel inspired, I highly recommend you listen to this album.

Sevenceez - CCRiderI generally despise when they re-produce Elvis’ songs because he basically produced his own recordings, at least the studio recordings before they were sent out to add strings and horns. The Royal Philharmonic recordings are, in my opinion, blasphemous. That being said, these reproduced gospel tracks are very tastefully done, crisp and clear with Elvis’ incomparable voice at the forefront, where it belongs. Nicely done.

In the last 10 years their have been multiple Elvis’ records released and have been successfully but this is the first gospel and I can tell you what a album this is! Gospel was popular in the 1940’s and still hadn’t died, just like the King, it’s a great rendition of Elvis’s favourite gospel songs with a touch of modern elements.
