I used to like these songs, but now I realize they are pretty bad. Weak lyrics, most songs aren’t catchy, same old same old. Ariana did a decent job singing, but the songs just didn’t click. Thank U Next was better. The Light Is Coming is TERRIBLE, and now even more terrible because Onika Minaj is in it.

Sweetener is Ariana Grande’s best album so far. Sweetener is a very dreamy album, just take a listen to the album and you’ll know what I mean by dreamy. The album was produced by Pharrell Williams and I like the new sound that he put into Sweetener. You can recognize Pharrell’s production without knowing he produced it. The music videos for the songs in the album are great and the lyrics are great and sentimental. Many of the songs are about anxiety and PTSD, and it will really help you if you get anxious a lot. Many of the songs also have an R&B feel especially the Pharrell produced ones. These songs would’ve been very popular if they were released in the early 2000’s There’s many more great things I can say about Sweetener, it’s a perfect album and I don’t skip any of the songs on it. Ariana’s vocals are so pure and sharp. You should really listen to it, it’s amazing.

Yes, no tears left to cry, breathin, and god is a woman are all more to the generic, but everything else, NO WAY. Im disappointed with the song god is a woman, being my beliefs are very different as far as that goes, but the other songs are bops. I listen to get well soon a lot. And successful. I think it is really odd how most songs are labeled explicit, even though many of them are not actually.

Out of all six of Ariana’s albums, “Sweetener” is by the far the best. It starts out with the raw, unfiltered “raindrops,” reminding everyone that they are listening to a VOCALIST, not just some singer. Songs like “better off,” “r.e.m.,” “god is a woman,” and “everytime” really show the strength in Ariana’s work. I consider these songs to be career highlights.

This is a great album! My favorite songs off of the album are “Everytime”, “Successful”, “Better Off” and “Pete Davidson”. The songs that I don’t like are “Sweetener” and “Blazed”. I have nothing against Pharrell, he brought something great to the album in”Get Well Soon” and “R.E.M”. I am confused why the songs say that they are explicit when they have no swear word in them. The only ones that are actually explicit are “Better Off” and “Breathin”. It is still her best album in my opinion (beating the “thank u, next” album). Great Job Ariana ♥️

Buy it! Definitely! Even though this album is completely different from dangerous woman and is a bit “experimental”, it has a bursting amount of emotions and energy, and everyday you have a new favourite song. They’re all gems. Even though Pharell messed up a bit, just give the “eh” songs another try and it’ll probably work. The album is such a surprise, loving and so vivid. For me, it’s far from being the worst album. So yeah, definitely buy it ♥️

i honestly think sweetener is a great album and one of my personal favourites. Although some may call it her worst i feel like this album is sort of like “blackout” by britney spears, not musically but in a way were people hate it at the time but in a few years they will appreciate and love it.

I have been a fan of Ari since I first heard one her songs in 2014 I feel a bit like this is not as good as DW. Not the worst album tho. TLIC is by far the worst song. My favourites are God is a woman, NTLTC, an angel cried all of which I have heard before the album dropped. REM is ok but its so flat like most rap its just so bland I wish they combined some high notes into it so it would be formated like No tears a bit of pop and the new rap-ish type. Breathin and Better off are the only songs I “discovered” on this album that im like OMG this is littt. Overall its g but theres a lot i dont like and I was waiting to be blown away but it was just a small gust o wind.

This is a beautiful album, I love love love it!! Each song is calming, positive and beautifully sung. Definitely one of my favourite albums ever. But... the only songs that have cursing in is Better Off, Breathin and The Light Is Coming... so why are nearly all the songs in the album marked explicit??

6 months have almost past since Sweeteners release, and i still only like the 3 songs that were released as singles. I am beyond happy that she released a new studio album so quickly, that is miles better than this.

some songs i can totally get away with. the songs produced by max martin, such as no tears left to cry, are absolutely outstanding, even if the lyricism is repetitive, the messages shine through and its such an uplifting track. then there’s ph*rrell’s production... let’s just say, don’t ever put two different producers on an album. you end up with this hybrid of two different sounds. max martin’s brilliant powerful pop ballads versus pharrell’s simple trap beats with simple repetitive lyrics smashed on top of it and some breathing noises or someone yelling to make the song sound even more pretentious and annoying. ariana, sweetie, never work with pharrell again and please bring back the writing team you used for dangerous woman.

I was really disappointed when I first heard the album there isn’t really a song in there that would get it to the top 10 for too long and I think that’s what it needed to be more popular because her new thank u next album is absolutely amazing and two of her songs have been in the top ten even number 1 and I think that is what it really needed x

Ariana found her sound! With most of these songs being written solely by Ariana this is the best album to date. The smooth sounds of R&B with incredible vocals and harmonies this has to be the best album of the decade. 🤍

Onto no tears left to cry amazing video creat comeback one of her best comebacks I think it was great how she incorporated some tributes to Manchester in the video like the bee flying across the screen at the end and how some of the be alright choreography was in the rooftop dance scene, in this video I love how everything is upside down and how she is basically saying how she felt all over the place after the Manchester attack and it is a really nice tribute and an amazing comeback. Breathin my favourite song on the album the video is amazing the whole meaning behind the song about her having an anxiety attack and the backwards message of her grandpa the video is great but it’s not as complex as god is a woman and no tears left to cry where which it doesn’t need to be at all I like the more simple approach to the video and I think it suits the song very well . Overall this album is worth the money by far it has so many amazing songs and music videos
