I was given a copy of this album by a mate in my HSC YEAR IN THE MID 80s and have adored it ever since. Thankfully the South African documentary SEARCH FOR SUGARMAN in 1997 uncovered this lost masterpiece, and rightfully elevated it to one of the greatest folk albums of all time, on par with the best of Bob Dylan’s work
This album was just exquisite and has become one of my favourites and I play it whenever I can. It was amazing when I first heard it when I was a teenager and it has only got better with time.
