- Is he Worthy

Such an Awsome Praise & Worship song !

- Resurrection power

Man I love it !!!! All his songs are great !!!! Listen to the words !!! It’s awesome.

- Holy Roar

Songs of worship from hearts of love for God. Appreciate Chris Tomlin's efforts to bring unity among believers and his encouragement to young worship leaders.

- Eh

Nothing different This holds Christian music back from artistry and creativity

- Pure Worship

I can see how some people think it might be "bland" but if they don't have Christ in their heart, they wouldn't understand what worship is to our God. Chris Tomlin's music is more worshipful than any other person being played today. This album is his greatest yet. Just sit back, close your eyes and worship the King. It's awesome.

- Same Old Inspiring Music

I I’ve no idea what is wrong with the one star oe ole. Just how different do You want his Music? This stuff is the stuff Chris has been know for. It uplifts and builds people. His music is God inspired and worshipful. Do you not think hat God will Love Chris to change IF God wants It Too? No This music Isle Of The same. Same Awe I Soto Wong God blessing Music. The tragedy Would Be if he were to Chang e this just to make People happy. This Music Makes God happy and THAT he succeeds in marvelously

- Doesn’t disappoint

Just when I think Chris Tomlinson music can’t get any better it does. Love this new cd. Surely Goodness is amazing, Is He Worthy takes our worship to a whole other level, Nobody Loves Me is just awesome. Can’t say enough great things!!!

- same 'ol song and dance

Tomlin...one of the front runners as to why Christian music is so bland these days.

- Every song sounds like every other Tomlin song out...YAWN

BOOOOORRRRRRIIIIINNNNNG.

- Jesus

I love listening to Chris Tomlin ❤️

- Bleh

Not a knock against Chris or his heart or his live leading. All great! But it just feels like this album could be up against any of his others, even 15 years ago. Music for the masses is needed, but this just feels tired. It’s not bad, just...bleh.

- Chris Tomlin’s Music Is the Best

I don’t know why everyone is hating on “Holy Roar”. It is just hands down 100% biblically based and since the Bible never changes, neither should the message of Christian music. Chris Tomlin is such an amazing artist and I appreciate all his music. Stop all the negative comments and recognize Chris’s God given gift for music. Love you Chris! 😘

- New Age vs Worship

I love worship music. There’s nothing wrong with having a good beat and melody to a song. However, it’s sad that most Christian music, including popular Christian artists who have been known for their unique styles of music, are all starting to come together and have the same style of “new-age, dance-electronic” type of music. What happened to the good drums, guitar, some piano, being mixed together in a perfect harmony, with a good, motivating beat. Now it all sounds the same, with dance rhythms. Another thing I notice is that the songs on this album which are actually good, such as satisfied, resurrection power, and a few others, actually have the low ratings. I hope Christian artists will start rising up, stop following the new world sound of music, and start recreating the same styles of their worship that started it all. Even Lincoln Brewster doesn’t sound like “Lincoln Brewster” anymore.

- Chris Tomlin = Modern day Psalmist

I can’t wait!

- A Holy Roar, A Resounding Success

Chris Tomlin’s done it again: “Holy Roar” wows as an album, encompassing the many modes and styles of worship to deliver a timeless collection of praise anthems. What’s impressive is Tomlin is able to so seamlessly blend corporate-style songs with the more intimate and personal (“Nobody Loves Me Like You”, “Impact”). “Goodness, Love and Mercy” pulls theological truth directly from Scripture but distinguishes itself through a creative reimagining (its gospel arrangement invites comparisons to “The Table” off 2014’s “Love Ran Red”). “Satisfied” provides a rollicker of a worship song, while “Resurrection Power” delivers a mid-tempo, piano-driven declaration of truth. All in, “Holy Roar” feels like a complete album, and an exceptional one at that: The lyrics are poignant; the music is fresh and original (but still accessible); and the worship itself has never been more resonant, never more transcendent. This collection soars.

- Anointed

Chris Tomlin never disappoints and this release has already become one of my favorites of Chris’ work. Song after song leads my heart before God’s throne in praise.

- Pathetic

The sound of weakness.

- It’s about Gods Word, not about Chris.

I suppose Gods Word has changed over the course of time? Or has Gods Word changed it’s tune and how it sounds? Who cares if Chris is singing new songs of his own or from other artists, what’s important is that the “words” are biblical and in line with Gods Word. So many Christians are forgetting the true value of praise and the words used in a song. The words we sing have more value than the sound of the song. This is why so many people, including Christians themselves find Gods Word itself “boring”, “same old same old”, etc. because they no longer appreciate the Bible and it’s unchanging words. I respect Chris and his music because he has never made it about himself or how he sounds, he has made it about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

- Awesome!

He did it again, wonderful worship music. Remember it’s about Jesus, not us!

- Is He Worthy?

This song seriously gave me goosebumps and filled my eyes with tears. Wow. And “Nobody Loves Me” and “Goodness and Mercy” I have literally put on repeat and played for an hour at a time. This music connects me with so much truth and promise that it’s like taking vitamins for my spirit. Thank you, Chris. What a gift you’ve given to us.

- He reminds me of David in the Bible

He’s the Psalmist in the Body Of Christ. I love his music. It’s therapeutic to my soul. Awesome 👏🏼

- I'm thankful

As one who has fallen away to addiction and recently come back to Christ, this album is just what I needed! I'm so thankful for the pure cry to Jesus of our need for Him, for His goodness, His Love and His presence in our life. 'Satisfied' is one of my favorites on this album. I've missed your work Chris, haven't listened to you much since Hello Love, so I'm looking forward to listending to what you've come out with since then. Thank you:)

- Just keep doing what you’re doing Chris!

Beautiful and anointed and need for where we are. Chris you are an inspiring writer and musician and don't ever doubt that! Worship is where God meets us and things change, thanks for ushering in years of music that allows the church to worship the King and feel his power and presence. We love you! Keep going!!

- My favorite song on the album is nobody loves me like you great song fantastic

Amazing my other favorite is holy roar awesome songs Great job

- Holy Roar

Not sure who are writing all these angry reviews. The album is filled with spirit filled impactful worship onto God. If you have Christ in your hearts you would know to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Another stellar album, well done Chris you’ve been faithful to God and it shows through your music.

- Best worship song ever

The new song, “is He worthy?” is one of the best worship songs released in a long time. Takes you right into Revelation to behold the strength and love of Jesus for those who believe in Him. Just an amazing one to meditate on over and over.

- Good music

I love the sound of His Grace working. Music is awesome now we must learn to Listen the the sounds of Spirit. His talking ....Thank you for Listening!!! Love

- Holy Roar!!!!

Pre-Ordered ... can’t wait!! 💜 Tomlin

- Not so good

This one isn’t what I’m looking for. Others say it’s bland and boring and I have to agree. Like they all sound very similar. I liked some of his older songs more. These are just meh. I know he’s trying to give a good message with his music and he is honestly. I just wish he made it more upbeat and enjoyable. This is a 👎🏻 for me. 😕

- The Formula (Yuck)

This is straight formulaic praise music crud - but Tomlin helped create the "industry," so I'm not sure why I'd expect anything different. Just makes me miss Keith Green, Rich Mullins, and Mark Heard even more. Those guys could write actual SONGS.

- Amazing as always

This is another outstanding album from one of my favorite worship artists. He never disappoints. From start to finish, this album has songs I will listen to again and again.

- Good album - Praise Him Forever

Praise Him Forever seems like all of his songs put together in one but still a good song and a great album

- Love Chris Tomlin ❤️

Chris Tomlins music floods my soul with the love of Jesus every time! God Bless you❤️

- Love “Satisfied” and “I Stand in Awe”😍🎶

“Satisfied” talks about that ache in our hearts 💕 that only God can soothe. “I stand in Awe” is a beautiful song fitting for adoration 🙏🏼.

- Classic Chris Tomlin

It’s just outstanding. His music speaks to my soul every time. Thanks amigo!

- Favorite album from Chris Tomlin!!

When I heard Burning Lights I didn’t think anything could top that album, but now this is my new favorite Chris Tomlin album!

- This is why....

This is why Christian music all sounds the same, nothing original, nothing unique, nothing to get excited about...Tomlin has fallen into the same trap that all the other greats have as well. Systematic writing using the same phrases over and over again.:(. It’s so sad because I’m a believer and want my kids to listen to positive music, but this is just regurgitated ugh...sorry:(

- Cristian

This album is much needed and helpful for those who seek and serve the Lord! Praise our faithful Lord!

- Bland

All of his songs sound the same now, its not original much anymore. Also using songs from others and people are giving him credit for it. Is He Worthy? is from Andrew Peterson and is better by him. Go back to your old stuff there Tomlin.

- He is worthy
