- R. Z. A.

Rush. Zeppelin. AC/DC.

- Why not me?

I’m taking one star away because I’m jealous of there success. Why can’t it be me is a rock star? Great band with huuugge potential. 👍🏻

- Amazing

Bringing classic rock back! These guys are awesome. Every album has gotten a little better each release. A must listen!

- HIPSTER BS

Pretentious thieves.

- A bold statement

Of course it is natural to compare what is unfamiliar with what is. Yes, Greta Van Fleet may be reminiscent of Led Zeppelin at a glance, but those who pay more attention will very quickly observe that beyond the initial similarities between these two brilliant bands, they are quite different in their own ways and they each deliver their own unique takes on what could arguably be considered a generic classic rock & roll tone. Both bands have cemented their own brands of rock, neither of which are as similar to one another as many seem to believe. It is for the reasons stated above that I believe it is not only a shame but in fact it is even potentially harmful to Greta Van Fleet to be compared to Led Zeppelin, and they should be allowed to thrive with their new and sensational sounds of rock & roll.

- Finally:)

One reviewer gave one star and compared this band to Green Day. Are you serious? Most say they're trying to sound like Led Zeppelin. Really? Have you listened to Zeppelin? If you have then you would know there's very few similarities. GVF is original. They rock. They are their own sound. Lay off. Click on the Dance/Electronic/Rap genre and keep telling yourself that you like good music.

- 👎🏻

I’ll stick with Led Zeppelin...

- Excellent Album!

Great band and album. Sure, they have drawn inspiration from Zeppelin, but why is that a bad thing?

- My new favorite band!

I absolutely adore this band, obviously they sound very similar to Zeppelin and I am so thankful for that cuz unfortunately I’m a 97 baby who never got to experience LZ in concert. In my honest opinion I think GVF will be greater than LZ in time, I see so much potential. Thank you for keeping your music clean when so many artists swear and hypersexualize everything. There has not been a song released by them that I haven’t LOVED. I can’t wait for the new album, I already have it pre-ordered.

- For the young & old

Absolute perfection.

- Great Rock Record

This is a truly talented band! I love the mood that the first track sets for the entire album. Great job from some unlikely place in Michigan. Wow!! I love this band.

- Rock and roll guys

Nude gypsy Queens is great band too rock will never die

- eh

Okay, let’s get this straight here. Led Zeppelin is the best band out there. Songs like Stairway to Heaven, All my Love, Rock n Roll, and other famous songs... salute to LZ!! Now.... we got ‘cough cough’ Greta Van Fleet. Who are they? Well, supposedly they’re from Michigan and they’re inspired with Led Zeppelin. They’re apparently 17 year olds, also brothers too?? When I first heard “Highway Tune” from their first album, it sounded like LZ. But then realized it was them....Safari Song kinda wasn’t the best, then Black Smoke Rising...kinda weak. Then, this album. When The Curtain Fall wasn’t the greatest, especially Anthem...So far, You’re the One is pretty much the best tune. I think they got potential of becoming successful, but not enough in my books.

- Outstanding!

Seen them live in Jax Fl on 5/9/19. These kids are very talented and sound amazing. Happy to see rock n roll is still alive.

- It’s pretty good, but...

There are are a lot more artists who know who they are and stay in my playlist rotation a lot longer. There’s not really a different enough unique sound. It comes off as a tribute to classic rock and led zeppelin mostly. The songs are fairly good. I still listen to Brave New World a lot, but classic rock fans fall for the fact that these sound like hit songs, but really it’s not extremely authentic. I think music fans stuck in the past have more in common with hip hop and modern pop fans than they realize. There a lot of bands out there making better, more authentic art.

- Finally Rock On!

Reminds me of Janis Joplin and a little Led Zeppelin…She has her own awesome voice and sound! Love it!!

- Boring posers, completely unnecessary

Try something new? Maybe? I mean it’s really lame they have to rip off Led Zeppelin so hard while bringing absolutely nothing new to the table cause they can’t come up with their own sound. Just a cover band without the covers. As a huge Led Zeppelin fan, it feels like they’re insulting my intelligence and insulting my taste by writing these boring, dated, less than mediocre knock off songs. It’s not that they’re untalented musicians, just untalented, painfully unoriginal songwriters. I wonder if the lead singer will ever explain why he has to put on a British accent every time he’s singing??? Yeah this albums really not good.

- Good, but not great

This album is more scattered than their first. I like the sound, but think there is more early Rush influences on this album than Led Zeppelin aside from the vocals. New rock bands like Dirty Honey and Greta are showcasing a genre that has been ignored for some time, which is a good thing.

- Greta Van Zeppelin (RESPECT)

Great music; keep up the great work! Be proud of your influences and take it to the next level!! Black Smoke Rising!! The baddest rock and roll band on the planet! Hands Down!

- Good solid rock band but with flaws

I think they need to work on vocals more. His voice is okay but something is off. It’s missing sort of a sweetness to it that makes it less appealing. I don’t think we should be comparing them to Led Zepplin. I don’t think these guys have got to that level in their craft yet. When I listen closely I hear something that could be developed more and have more of a finished, and polished approach but I think it is their own unique sound. I think with the right producer they could be a great band but they need to break out of their confront zone.

- Imma make a funny joke

Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (of Led Zeppelin)

- Just good music

There are many bands that sound like one another - almost every hair metal band of the 1980's, with guitar solo's at 2:00 in, for 30 seconds, so they could make Guitar Player Magazine as the "new metal band" of the week. SHRAPNEL records made careers out of guitar virtuosos that all sounded like Yngwie Malmsteen - yet he survives to this day when others have died out. The truth is, this is just a great band with some cool tones, vibes and you can listen from album to album, all the way through, like old Van Halen albums. It does not matter the order of the songs because, like LZ, they are all decent songs. Do you realize how hard it is to write just one song? How about 2 albums in 3.5 years? Brothers too (mostly). It is all pretty fantastic stuff...and I am glad I lived long enough to hear Zeppelin and Fleet, Van Halen to Nirvana, and everything in between. Velvet Revolver was the last band that really struck me as pure rock. And yes, "rock" was dead until these guys came along.

- Pretty Good

This album gets boring for a few songs, but it has good songs. Love the sound, the instruments, his vocals, very beautiful.

- Here’s the thing..

They’re talented, and their music is fun to listen to. But how can you try to establish a unique identity if you clearly are a “strictly influenced” band with one sound (that of Led Zeppelin)? All I’m thinking as I was listening to this album was, “wow they really love Jimmie page and Robert plant!” Granted, Led Zeppelin also had lots of plagiarism.. but they did take it a step further in redirecting the genre of rock n roll (I believe) and that is not what greta van fleet is doing. They are simply echoing the sounds of one of the greatest bands, Led Zeppelin.

- Vocals are Crap

Fine until the singing kicks in. Just not my thing I guess.

- Just buy Led Zeppelin II

This is a poor rip off of one of the greatest bands of all time.

- Real music!!♥️😭

I love this band! I don’t care if they sound like other artists! They are very talented and have their own unique Greta Van Fleet sound! Especially in love with their new album, The Battle at Garden’s Gate!

- Makes me feel alive... And young...

This is truly awesome music especially in 2018-2019...I grew up in 70s-80s and thought that music was no more... But this band restored my faith. All four are excellent musicians and clearly love music and playing which is contagious. The lead singer is both gifted and charismatic... Take care of your voice my friend. Their live performances on YouTube are transformative experiences not to be missed. So young and so NOT full of themselves... Inspiring! I wish them a long fruitful career... Stay clean and down to Earth... And most all keep playing...

- Better than Zep in my opinion.

Jimmy Page is overrated. The guitar on this album is awesome.

- SortaOldDude

Solid rock-n-roll, original stuff - great to see musicianship being extolled. If you're looking for the next big thing... maybe these guys - what did they say about those rock gods Rush when they came out? Still don't get the name, but makes it memorable - nice move.

- Don’t believe the hate

Mainstream media doesn’t like rock anymore

- This is Rock

Loved every second of it. Great acoustic work, and of course curtain to fall’s hard rock is fantastic, brilliant album, not much else to say but brilliant

- masterpiece

lovely and invigorating and nothing of which is being mass produced out of pure insincerity into today’s music industry

- Greta Van Zeppelin

Just listen to Led Zeppelin. Go up to the search bar, type "Led Zeppelin," and hit enter. Spare yourself this 5th generation clone of a legendary rock band and actually go listen to the music this band apes, sound and image-wise. Dull and tasteless imitation, the hospital food version of the classic rock sound.

- AMAZING

I Can’t get enough of this band! They’re just so talented !! I hope they teach this generation what good music really is !!

- Joplin more than Plant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- Great and Original. YES...ORIGINAL.

Elements of Led Zeppelin--yes. But every single song is original. The vocals and if you've seen them live) stage presence is amazing--that vocalist is #not lacking in passion and authenticity. He carries himself so well, and then there's the sheer range and power of his cocals. Dude can sing. Guitars are deep and heartfelt and well thought out and original. YES...ORIGINAL. Get over the "sounds like Zeppelin" already.

- Idiots

This some of the best rock music in years! They aren't trying to be Zepplin. It's a style nothing more! Hell everyone wants to compare David Covedale to Robert Plant yet their voices are different. Just enjoy! Geeze!

- Keep it rocking

This band is f n superb. I kinda dig their vocals. I hope they keep up the rock n.

- Nothing Interesting

Their first EP was great because Jake has wonderful vocals, but there’s nothing musically interesting. It’s like if a cover band got signed to a huge label and released their really meh originals... wait a minute

- Hey, you heard about this new, cool band?

This is poor. This is boring. This is plagiorism. This is uncreative. This is in dire need of a soul. And that is the worst album title ever. As in ever.

- New to Greta

Heard a few songs I loved, so dug in deeper with more, and now wish I’d stayed with the few songs I loved. Too childish onstage, too much screaming and too much theatrics. Lead singer looks like Richard Simmons. Quit trying to be zeppelin and rush and Freddy mercury and find your own groove. Thought this was rock and roll, but it’s slipping away into something else.

- Love it

Even after a few years the music keeps getting better

- Awesome, except for one song

This album has really grown on me, there’s just one song I can’t get behind and that’s The New Day, even over two years later. The Battle at Garden’s Gate is a big improvement, but this one is still pretty solid and is technically their sophomore effort counting the EP From the Fires.

- Love them

They are so talented I absolutely love them. Way to bring back rock and roll

- Love it💞

They’re really good! Hopefully I will see them in concert in the future. I’m only 16 and I’m happy this sound is coming back so I can actually go see it in concert

- Great album!

Awesome young band. Can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

- Um?

Sounds to much like Led Zeppelin.

- Talented, but tiresome.

We've heard this 50 years ago. No denying the talent, but they can't do anything else except sound like the greatest band of all time.

- Old school

Rock&Roll is back ! Thank you very much Ralph M. P.S. Dio Jr

- Fantasic Band

Mesmerizing with every tune. Love it. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their music.

- Simply Brilliant

Forget the Led Zeppelin comparison, they were great but so are these guys. This is a great album and stands on it's own. Well done.

- Yaaaas

SOOOOO HYPE💪💪💪💪💪💪💪😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝

- Best album in at least 20 years

This is the best album I’ve heard that’s been released in my lifetime. I am so glad that there is now a band making music which I can follow and be excited about what they will produce next

- Amazing

Amazing.. Best Album, so talented..These guys rock!!!

- Greatness right here

For me Age of Man and Brave New World, Lover Leaver and Watching standouts. True brilliance. You could climb Everest and conquer it listening to those songs. Thanks Greta!!!

- Dead Badger Carcass

Joker weed thief stunned LSD flare chains nude corduroy rock stoner crowd nostalgic cosmic fluff knuckles....

- Great album!

It’s got blues, a bit of folk and a little prog in some tracks. I feel this album will silence the ones who put the 'zeppelin rip-off’ tag on these guys, they’ve definitely broadened their horizons here. Sure, the bluesier tracks matched with the singer’s range will automatically get comparison’s thrown at it from people, but beneath the surface there’s more to it than that.

- Radd1234

Amazing

- Cheers

This is great, your 2nd Album is even better than your first, and i can't stop playing that one. cheers

- Amazing first album

From the first two eps Greta Van Fleet has shown with their first debut album Anthem Of The Peaceful Army what they can do with hit tracks When the curtain falls, Lover Leaver (taker, believer) and watching over and many more this band has shown what they can do.

- Brilliant

These guys are really proving their talent and potential to be the biggest band out there today. Executed so well, cannot stop listening

- Rewarding Debut

Led Zeppelin was perhaps the most influential and defining band in rock music and my favourite band of all time, evolving from the late 60s and owing a lot to their influences in their music. So here we are 50 years later listening to a debut from a band that while they are being panned for their influences, and uncanny nuances of Led Zeppelin, have in a very short time started to create music that no longer is a clone. Listen to Brave New World and the opener and tell me there isnt something worth listening to with this band. Watch their 26 minute video on itunes and tell me it isnt exciting to watch. That's how I feel about a fantastic debut from a band that has already progressed quickly from the 2 eps that preceded this album. And to think all songs are new, not remakes of the eps. That is a ballsy thing to do in these times. Cant wait for this band to progress over time. They have the musical chops and are going somewhere, just wait and see.

- So good
