Sunshine Rock (Bob Mould) Album Reviews

  • Still doing his thing

    Arnold Diaz
Yep, it's another Bob mound album. That’s all you need to know about this one. Longtime fans will buy it, some people who have been living under a rock may discover it, but it’s nothing new or exciting, won't earn him many new fans, and won’t catapult him into discussions of artists who are still creative after all these years.
  • Great first two singles

Cannot wait until the album is released!
  • album cover wack

    this album cover trash
  • Good Rock Music

What more can one ask for? A great rock album that doesn't disappoint.
  • Typically great

Classic Bob Mould. If the first single is any indication, this album will be another in a long line of great guitar-driven rock collections from one of the godfathers of grunge punk. Can’t wait for the whole album and tour.

Bob Mould - Sunshine Rock Album Wiki

Sunshine Rock is the 13th solo album from former Hüsker Dü and Sugar frontman Bob Mould. The album release was announced on October 24, 2018. The album was released on February 8, 2019, and debuted at number 192 on the US Billboard 200. A review in Dagger says ""I Fought" has all the rage and bluster that Husker Du ever had (same with the great "Sin King") while "Camp Sunshine" is, dare I say a flowery love song[.] Sunshine Rock shows Bob and his unbeatable rhythm section at the top of their game.".
