How someone can give this Album 4 stars instead of 5 is confusing. This album has so many great songs and of course the ever evolving Fab Four. It’s really a piece of history.

Hearing this for the first time on Christmas Day 1968 at age 11, having been weened on their previous work, I thought “What Happened to The Beatles!!!” ‘Hey Bongelo Bill...” — “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road’ ‘Wild Honey Pie’” you get the Idea. I thought they totally lost it. But after over half a century, since it still seems to have staying power, it has been thus deemed a classic. Just buy it.

Don’t get me wrong the stereo version of this album will still be listened to as songs are slightly shorter/edited on the mono version but we still need the mono mix!

🤡🙏❤️❤️❤️ The best album they ever made by the Beatles!!! This is something you would pass generations to generations. This is a look 👀 into the greatest of the Beatles. Without this album they would be nothing just another band.

The Beatles showed their versatility in this album more than in any other. I love this album because there is literally a song for whatever mood you’re in - if you’re sad, listen to Yer Blues, I’m So Tired, Julia, or Long, Long, Long. If you’re feeling energetic, listen to Helter Skelter, Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except for Me and My Monkey, Birthday, Savoy Truffle, or Back in the U.S.S.R. There is literally something for everybody in the album, and it is also worth noting the breakout of George Harrison as a songwriter in “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, which also happens to be the best song on the album. The closing track is also a contender for the most beautiful song they’ve made, with Ringo’s great vocals. After going through this crazy roller coaster of an album, Good Night seems like a fitting thing to hear after it’s all over.

Awesome, but why won’t the people who remaster these albums also add the mono mixes too so we can hear the difference between the mono and stereo mixes? I think it would be cool to have both mono and stereo mixes too.

In English, they pronounce it “Paris,” but everyone else pronounces it without the “s” sound, like the French do. But with Venezia, everyone it the English way, “Venice.” Like The Merchant of Venice and Death in Venice . . . Why though?! Why isn’t the title Death in Venezia?! Are you friggin’ mocking me?! It takes place in Italy so use the Italian word, **** it! That **** p***es me off! Bunch of dumb***es! Ghiaccio rants aside, this is perhaps The Beatles’ best album.

I was eight. I remember distinctly the manson murders casting a pall over this release, as if it was akin to devil worship playing it. Listening to it, it's certainly not hard to visualize several songs in that light, not just skelter. As far as I'm concerned, they shoulda run that little malevolent runt and his entire psycho posse thru a Coen bros. woodchipper. Horrified, it took me years to appreciate these inventive songs without the specter of evil prodding my memories towards the deepest pit of evil senseless.

Back in the USSR was decent & that’s it!! The album & band are the most overrated in music history!! Helter Skelter by The Crue is a Grammy winner compared to this original version!! These guys were wasted in India writing this!! This & all Beatles albums are hard passes!!

This LP has so many personalities to it. I listened to this 100 times in the summer of 1981. Never gets boring. Love Goodnight and Dear Prudence.

I have this exact album but says I can purchase it again...shame on iTunes for just saying mastered for and then being able to charge again....5 stars for the Beatles...1 star for Apple being greedy....once again.
