- America

Jus when you start to like an artist until they push their leftist agenda. Your large country fan base will head for the exit door. Your symbolism on the top right of your album an upside down pentagram with a heart. Are you a satanist? Did you sell your soul to Hollywood?

- Bummer

Not great

- Excellent

New to his music and love this album. For everyone who is leaving him because they don't like his message -- no worries, he's finding new fans.

- Amazing artist

If this first song is any indication this album will be as epic as all of the others. Ryan is a rare find in the music world. Soulful and heartfelt, he brings music that that tells a story in a beautiful way.

- American Love Song

LOVE THIS ALBUM. Thank you Ryan!!

- Love it!

Another great body of work by Bingham!!

- SGlow

Been a fan for a long time. Mescalito is one of my favorite albums ever, but this album is weird...Ryan’s politics & support of radical left policies can’t be good for business considering his fan base. Everyone has a right to express their views, but as a entertainer those can come at a cost.

- 🎙 Captured Me🎙

Can’t wait to hear the album

- Texas Troubadour

Way to go! Reminds me of some other Texas greats, I like that he’s brave with his music and doesn’t stick to the same old routine!

- Two chords

The songs sound as if he made them up as he was recording them. Very bland. I was optimistic after hearing Jingle but this simply is not a record.

- Well....

Everyone has a bad album, and well...... this is yours.

- Love it!

I’ve been waiting so long for this album and Ryan Bingham did not disappoint!!

- Terrible

Terrible! This guy doesn’t need to be moving forward, he needs to go back to what made Mescalito so good

- Not his best

Fear and Saturday night was a huge bounce back for Ryan but this album is another step back. There’s a few good songs on this album and that’s why I’ll give it three stars. But overall the album is pretty erratic. The use of gospel style singers throughout the album is obnoxious. The political undertones are a bit pretentious. It’s like Tomorrowland, but slightly better. Ryan should stick to the style he had with Mescalito and the Dead Horses.

- Downward direction

Not sure why he’s changed his direction, but it’s not for the better that’s for sure. Based on the previews... I won’t be buying this one.

- Long way from junky star

Disappointing

- dang...

A lot of people may not like this album because of “political tones”. Bingham has always been somewhat political, if you actually listen to his lyrics. I don’t mind that. You should never expect an artist to stay away from politics. Art is an expression of the world around us. Unfortunately this album is just not my favorite. It’s actually my least favorite tied with Tomorrowland. I have followed since the beginning (literally, since Mescalito times) and listen to his music almost daily. I just can’t get behind this one. Honestly it was sort of hard to listen to because it felt nothing like him. His unique voice is the only remaining “Bingham-ism” of the past. I am very aware artists grow and change with time, and that can be a good thing, but this one feels forced. Not to mention very mumbly... half the time I had no idea what he was saying so I had to pull up all the lyrics as I listened. A lot of his newer following may like it because there are some catchy tunes sprinkled in there (wolves, jingle & go) but for those of us who have been listening for a while and are used to his original sound, it felt very contrived and foreign. I was looking forward to this album for a long time but I can already tell I will be archiving this one and going back to the good old tried and trues. Hard times, ya’all. Still love him though.

- Wolves is great!

I can’t wait to hear more songs and I’m excited to see Ryan live in Austin next week. Thank you for another great album.

- Terrible

He left left the fan base and music that brought him...now an elitist with bad music.

- Blah

Wolves, Jingle and Go...the rest is awful. How can people judge an album before it’s released? Bingham is awesome but this album is crap.

- Dylanesque!

Too many people are knocking this release based on their political views differing from those of the artist. Folk and roots music have a long political tradition, and there’s nothing more American than that - what good is freedom of speech if you can’t express yourself? This is a well written and well performed album. Particularly love “Wolves”....check it out.

- Great Storyteller

Heard his music on TV and immediately purchased his albums. Love his emotion and honesty in song. Listen to any of these. Stones is particularly moving. He is amazing. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews. Jingle and Go, Lover Girl, Wolves, Sunrise are my favorites.

- Not great

My favorite singer still. Get out of Hollywood and back to your roots and make some albums like junky star and Mescalito again. Just my thoughts

- Disappointed

Been a fan for many years, Ryan was a breathe of fresh air whenever I came across him. Mescalito, roadhouse sun and junky star are some of my favorite albums of all time but this album didn’t do it. This was the step in the wrong direction, politics and crap like that isn’t what anybody wanted. We want the kind of music that came from Wishbone Saloon to Junky Star!!! Please see the light RB

- Stan the music man unusual

I don’t buy music 🎶 by those who use their own platform to express their political 💩

- I bought this

Hoping he was going to follow his live album energy, well I tried to like this but just can’t. So he is one for three solo releases, maybe he might see what the dead horses are up to

- Oh you know...that’s how I Jingle and Go...

Have been eagerly awaiting being able to listen to this new music from Ryan Bingham after seeing him sing some of the songs live in November. Listening to Jingle and Go again does not disappoint. Catchy lyrics, something you want to sing along to. I cannot wait to listen to the entire record. Ryan just keeps getting better and better. Adding to this after listening to the entire album...love, love, love it all.

- Thanks ryan

Thanks for responding on twitter. Nice first song Love the blues kick to the voice. It works out very well.

- Why???

American Love Song, with a side of bashing the President and conservative political views. I don’t care which side a songwriter is on, don’t know why you would want to split a wedge between your fans like that. We already get that from everywhere else, it’s nice to escape it in music. I like a couple of the non political songs.

- Here comes another one!!!

Been listening to this guy for over 10 yrs. from small time rodeos to huge venues. He’s a true troubadour in every sense of the word... and getting better with every album... would love to see T-Bone Burnett produce a whole album of his... can’t wait for the whole album...

- This is music!

When I get in my vehicle, my Ryan Bingham station is what I play first on Pandora.

- Terrible

I guess I need to start listening to albums before buying them. Wish I had my money back.

- Very Good

Don’t listen to the naysayers and those complaining about the political stuff. It’s his right to say what he feels and the lyrics are awesome. Very good album, to go along with all of his others!

- Better with each listen..

I'm as big of a Mescalito fan as there is. Similarly, Tomorrowland is my least fave. This stacks closer to Mescalito on the spectrum. More bluesy, more soul. Less Texas roots "Americana" than previous albums. But songs are all enjoyable. Don't get fooled by some of the "too political" comments. Not fair criticism. I was looking forward to this album for a long time. I was admittedly a little let down upon first listen. But I've listened a few more times and it's growing on me for sure. The middle of the album is stacked. You know he will LAY IT DOWN live. Don't miss him if he's passing through.

- Disappointed

I’ll never get back the time I spent listening to this album. I could have been listening to Mescalito, Junky Star, or Roadhouse Sun instead. Ryan is capable of some really great music as his first three albums (or four, if you count Wishbone Saloon) demonstrate. Unfortunately, this album and Tomorrowland are terrible, and Fear and Saturday Night is only marginal.

- Garbage

You just lost a fan!! Do your self a favor and don’t buy this pile of junk!

- Legit!

So happy with this album! Good variety of songs and a fantastic sound!

- Crap

I have been a huge fan of Ryan’s and have shared the stage before. Bro our country is so divided and folks like you are making it worse! You came from Texas and have shot guns and hunted but now you are a hypocrite Sir!

- Not your best

I think everyone has pointed out the obvious. Not his best work. Do your self a favor and listen to the rest of the albums and just skip this one. You can tell it didn’t come from his heart.
