I’m not writing a review on them not a fan but cruising thru the comments. You are incorrect about your comment about Johnny Cash. Correction NIN covered the Johnny Cash song “HUrt”. So it’s vice versus, Johnny Cash came out way before NIN

If you’re gonna cover NIN at least do it well. It's just a half assed cover with none of the elements that make the original good, and nothing else original to add to it. That and the rest of the songs so far are just bland and do not have anything good or original to offer.

Best album in a long time. Sounds like the 15 album which was their last great one. Seems heavier which is also a good thing!

"Hurt" is a song by American industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails from their second studio album, The Downward Spiral (1994), written by band leader Trent Reznor. It was released on April 17, 1995 as a promotional single from the album. The song received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rock Song in 1996, but ultimately lost to Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know". In 2002, "Hurt" was covered by Johnny Cash to commercial and critical acclaim; it was one of Cash's final hits released before his death, and the related music video is considered one of the greatest of all time by publications such as NME. Reznor praised Cash's interpretation of the song for its "sincerity and meaning", going as far as to say "that song isn't mine anymore." What any of that has to do with "Head Like A Hole" is beyond my comprehension. Anyway, this is a good album. There's a few good songs on here. Not a huge fan of Buckcherry but to just detroy this record is silly.

- JC covered NIN

NIN recorded it in 94 I believe and JC covered it in 02. Changed some words. A lot of ppl think JC wrote it after his wife passed but that’s not the case. But so far so good on the record.

Not what I wanted to hear, the music is not as hard, but the singing is now through a processor or something is the worst. Josh Todd now sounds like M Shadows from Avenged. if you liked the powerful voice screaming "next to you!" on that song, or "Oh yeah" at the start of Lit Up, you will be disappointed. The song "Bent" still manages to be good, so I gave it one star. But Imma go back and listen to Lawless and Lulu to clear my ears...

- Get Bent

I wouldn’t normally write a review b4 hearing a full album, but since the haters are already hating, let me say about Warpaint: “so far...so sick!” The NIN cover is a ballsy one and it’s fun to hear a dirty rock take on the industrial classic. And if “Bent” is any indication, this will be an epic Buckcherry album. 4 fans like me, March can’t come soon enough. And for the trolls already slagging Warpaint, you’re entitled 2 your opinion, but feel free 2 engage in the title of my early review.

I’m a Buckcherry fan, but this album is not very good. By far their worst.

“Reviews” make me nauseous because everyone believes they’re an expert on whatever it is they are reviewing. People actually review businesses for a living and it’s ridiculous. I’m not going to waste my time correcting people who think Johnny Cash wrote Hurt. As has been mentioned I don’t see the relevance here. What I will say is this: Buckcherry is not my favorite band, but they aren’t horrible. To give them 1 star because you watched Fox News before you had your coffee is inexcusable.

- Missing Keith Nelson

Been a fan for years. I don’t begrudge any bands moving forward when members leave, but Keith is missed on this album. Kind of like Aerosmith without Joe Perry. Josh and Keith had a unique synergy. That being said, not a bad album. “Bent” is catchy as hell and “Radio Song” is a singalong. But the rest kind of runs together. No “Gluttony” or “Next 2 U” or “Riding”. Just missing that little something. Hope they come back stronger on the next album.

So far so good. Bent is a great rocker and Head Like a Hole is a great cover. For the ones trashing them I’d love to hear the songs you’ve written.

Johnny Cash covered NIN. Sure he was around way before but Hurt was written by Trent Reznor and recorded by NIN. All the info is out there. Check it out. As far as this record It's classic Buck Cherry.

Why can't you write you own music? Stop trying to be Trent dude. You're not. The only person to successfully record a NIN song was Johnny Cash and you are not Cash either. LAME.

Wow, giving a 1 star review just to post an incorrect statement? Johnny Cash covered NIN. Just because Johnny Cash was around long before NIN doesn't mean he couldn't cover a newer song. Anywho... love Buckcherry! Everything I can already listen to from the new album sounds great!!!
