- Perfect

This band is absolutely amazing and everything they put out just gets better and better

- And I’m just hearing this now?

Love it

- Excellent

When a band makes the music they want and not want people want to hear this is what you get. They have and continue to thrive because of this. The production, song writing, lyrics. This is a labor of love. Very impressive.

- Considering my name is Stan

All Hail the mighty Stan!!!!!

- 🔥

Crush is rad Album is rad

- BRILLIANT!!!

Was a fan of Misha's way before Periphery was a thing. Listened to his soundcloub posts all the time. I've been listening the the YouTube stream. I just had to buy the album on itunes. This just has to be the most incredible Periphery album I've ever heard. It has to be one of the best ALBUMS I've ever heard period... any genre... so freaking good. The diversity and dynamics they introduced into this album is exactly what bands don't need to be affraid to do. I love the fact that this seems to be their heaviest, most technical, softest, and least technical album all at the same time. I just think it is BRILLIANT!!!

- A Periphery Album. Period.

Super fun album. Period. It must have been a blast making this. This is the power of a band unleashed from a label. They do everything here. It’s heavy, it’s soft, it’s majestic. It ‘goes up like an eagle and down like a wounded ox’. It’s also very different from other albums in that they depart from previous ‘Periphery’ boundaries- which is a good thing. It’s not my instant favorite album of theirs- that will always belong to Juggernaut. I think the thing I loved about a concept story album like Jugs is how focused it all is (and has to be) to tell the story. The comes through in the listening experience. It’s something more, something extra. No album will have the same vibe, ever, due to the uniqueness of it all. P4 reminds me a lot of P2 not in the sense of the instrumentation, but in what sounds like they are having a lot of fun. I hear a certain level of exultation on it that I heard on P2. Favs are Reptile, Blood Eagle, Satellites, Smiles. I have this feeling that Crush is going to really grow on me. They could make an entire industrial-electronic-metal-future concept album based off that track that would be such a departure from ‘Periphery’ but it would BANG. Do it! I constantly have “There must have been something in the water”, “Soil we own, order back in what we know” ..love that descending line. “Rip a hole in my life, but no matter the things I do, never get over it. I said goodbye from a place so far, I’m under ..the truth..” “Where is the love in the bend and the break? This is our home. A cut upon the skin, they’re always sharp, in the begin-ninnggg”. Just awesome guys.

- OofOmg

This album Incases Periphery’s own superior craft to music. Pure experiMENTALism in the best way their minds could portray. 🖤🖤🖤

- Wow

👍🏾awesome stuff!!

- Perfect growth

Best technical band in the business. They have matured their sound to create this album which is the pinnacle of their library thus far. Heavy when it needs to be, groovy, Orchestral parts, strings, some techno sounds. And of course, the guitars, drums, and killer vocals. But this, now, it slaps.

- Deserves to be experienced!

From start to finish, IV: HAIL STAN seduces and amazes with each track. This is one of the heavier albums Periphery has released to date, yet there's plenty of bliss that cuts through the intensity. Often, modern metal music production seems oddly cookie-cutter in process, but we are spoiled once again with the fidelity and attention to detail that Nolly and the rest of the team brings to the table. Though the music is in your face, this record deserves to be experienced on the best pair of headphones or monitors you can get your hands on.

- AMAZING.

Absolutely amazing per usual. Just when I think Periphery can’t get any better, they prove me wrong. Truly a work of art....the entire album. The composition is amazing.

- Best work to date. They are hitting full stride.

Best incorporation of their incredible instrumental writing with vocals to date. And interesting structures! Can’t wait for the next one.

- LET OUT THE ROAR!

BARBARIC TO THE CORE!

- Overshadows Everything Else

Periphery has been seen as a juggernaut (pun intended) in the metal world for quite some time but this album puts them even above that. To me this album leaves everything they’ve done in the past in the dust. Every track on this album has such a distinct identity that has left me thinking about them well after I finish listening to it front to back. I’m more than comfortable with saying that this has become my all time favourite album. That position beforehand has been held an album I’ve been listening to for more than ten years. Bravo Periphery. I love you all. Don’t stop making music for as long as you can.

- Heavy.

I love blood eagle, it’s heavy and intricate. Can’t wait for the rest of the album. Periphery has made me a happier person. Garden in the Bones on repeat.

- Periphery’s best work?

Periphery is sounding ever tighter, breaking the boundaries of progressive metal, and laying it DOWN. P4 is reminiscent of all of their best works in the past, and gives me a lot of P2/Juggernaut vibes while moving ever forward and evolving the Periphery sound. If an itunes debut at #9 isn’t deserved, I don’t know what is. HAIL STAN BAYBEE!!1!

- And people say rap is dead

They should listen to this filth.

- 💩

Total whiny sissy garbage. Sounds like a bratty kid having a seizure and I can’t wait to beat him.

- PERIPHERY CAME BACK SWINGING!

This new album is gonna be insane! Blood Eagle already has me jumping around whenever it comes on!!

- Periphery!!!

They are back!!!

- P4

Buy it now mothafudgers

- HAIL STAN!!

Probably the best album that periphery has ever put together!

- Absolutely amazing!

Their darkest and heaviest album yet. The album starts off with a 17 minute song but don’t let it fool you it’s phenomenal and each song after will blow you away.

- Always the BEST

Great album from start to finish. Loved these guys since P2. Always a huge fan🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻❤️

- They Took Their Time And It Shows

This is P’s debut album on their own record label and it is a beaut. The songwriting for this album is a master class in diversity amongst the sum of their works. When I first listened through, I instantly placed it above Select Difficulty, but just a smidge beneath my favorite, II. Now that I’ve listened through a few times I can feel it growing on me even more. Will it come to be my favorite? Time will tell. My 3 fave tracks as of this review; Reptile Follow Your Ghost Satellites And that’s me forcing myself to choose 3. The album is fantastic, end to end.

- 5/5

I always get chills at the last chorus for Garden of Bones. 👌🏼

- It’s okay

The songs released so far are good, but the mix is rough. There last album was the same. Just not as crisp sounding as the two juggernaut albums.

- Decent

I don’t have a problem with the songs it’s just the overall production I’m not feeling, the songs sound so muddled and there’s no differentiation between any of the instruments or vocals

- Fantastic work

Besides a few minor tweaks that can be made to the production, the album feels fantastic and sounds much darker than their usual stuff they put their heart and soul in their work and it clearly shows

- Periphery IV

Great album

- Best Album Ever

Periphery is an amazing band and this album solidifies them as the best band on Earth. Great album. Keep making music please!

- Amazing

I’ve been listening to this band since P1. Best album to date. It’s an experience from beginning to end that I never want to stop. Well done guys.

- Amazeballs.

This is their best work. If you're a Periphery fan do yourself a favor and buy this. Support the boys on their first album away from a record label and the best album of their career.

- Great

Amazing 😁

- Because Reptile. Duh.

This somehow manages to be their heaviest, but at times, their lightest record yet. Loving it.

- Garbage

Crap, I would give a -100 if it went that deep.

- Great work guys!

At long last another Periphery album.. been waiting for this since P3. Anyone who doesn’t immediately pre order this is dumber than a box of rocks. Blood Eagle SLAPS live.

- 😍

😍😍😍😍

- Hail Stan

Makes me want to not pay my taxes to stick it to the man

- worth multiple listenings

Became a real Periphery fan with P-3. Liked a few of their tracks before that album, but feel like they "became them." with that album. They defintely have a consisent "Periphery sound," now. No matter the type of song they play or direction they take it. Feel like they are taking the progressive mantle from Dream Theater. I feel like this album proves that. In some ways, this is a continuation of P-3, but both somehow heavier and poppier. Absolutely worth multiple listens.

- True Periphery at their Best

Hey, you, yeah you, petty One-Star reviewer(s). Go to youtube, and listen to the complete amazingness of the full album. “Playing it safe,” or “They toned it down for this album,” is not what this album is. You wanted hard? You got it from this beast of a band.

- Awesome music, bad mixing

The music contained on this album is fantastic but the audio mixing/quality sound like something from an early 2000s underground band which isn’t great considering all the tools available in today’s day and age. Still a must listen despite this as this is probably their best album yet.

- Tip top

One of the best bands ever

- No words needed

The music speaks for itself

- HAIL STAN

This is by far the best Periphery album to date!!!! Reptile is INSANE!

- Yeah, one of their best

Blood Eagle. Wow. Reptile is long but worth the listen, its almost cinematic. Garden in the Bones was a great balance between heavy and lighter parts. It's Only Smiles is great happy metal and has good lyrics. Follow Your Ghost is a necksnapper for sure. Oh boy, i could go on, but I want to listen to this album again, but I think it is their best to date.

- Ooooooohh

!

- Periphery can do no wrong

Best record since P2 IMO. Fantastic structure and song writing. Spencer really pulls in some new directions lyrically. Can’t wait to see these tracks live 🤘🏻

- Boring

Unimaginative with horrible singing. Same old stuff over and over. Pass.
