Nice movie
If a music can made us got the heart feeling of what the soundtrack of the story placed, that is a adorable music production. I really like that easy listens for all kinds or age people. I have no hesitate to send all those songs to my two sisters and their sons. Great purchase I feel worthy is rare nowadays.

I entered the movie theater with the mindset of enjoying the movie and not comparing it to the original one and I really enjoyed it. My only problem with the soundtrack in the movie was that I felt underwhelmed with Be Prepared and when they played Spirits in the scene where Simba was going home. I donโt have a problem with the song itself, but it felt like it didnโt suit that exact scene. But the soundtrack was really good
The Lion King is one of my favorite childhood movies, and Iโve never seen a a Disney live action movie before this one, but I had to see this. That being said, I do love the soundtrack. Billy Eichnerโs voice was amazing and he and Seth Rogen were great as Pumbaa and Timon, who are my favorites. I do think JD McCrary, who played young Simba, needs to control his voice a little more, but he can really sing for his age. And of course, I loved Beyoncรฉ as Nala. Would definitely recommend the soundtrack and the live action movie!

arguably one of the best disney villain songs is be prepared. the โsongโ (if you can even call it that because itโs just 2 minutes of talking to the beat) is just awful in this movie. the others werenโt nearly as bad but were too poppy and modern and lost the original feel. it wasnโt horrible overall but definitely didnโt live up to the hype
I understand peopleโs personal opinions about these new Disney remakes, I really do, but personally I find that if you have an opinion that will offend otherโs I wish you should keep it to themselves. Itโs okay to dislike something and rate it low. It isnโt okay to write really negative things about peopleโs hard work just because you have a negative opinion. I read through the comments before I listened to it and had really low expectations, expecting the literal worst because of all the negativity. But it truly blew me away. Donald Glover has such a phenomenal voice, and I have nothing against Beyoncรฉโs piece in Can You Feel The Love Tonight. I love how Disney has made these new movies for the kids who werenโt around when they first came out. Really excited to see the movie. Really recommend it to true Disney fans.

Agree with another reviewer the original soundtrack was far better.
This soundtrack is good when it reuses the classic themes from the original. But the new songs are....eh? How do I put it? Pretty stinky. By โclassic themesโ I meant just the background music not the actual songs. โCircle of Lifeโ is fine. โI just canโt wait to be kingโ sounds 100% auto tuned. โBe Preparedโ is an absolute disgrace, they took out so much of the song, it didnโt even sound like he was actually singing, it sounded like an aggressive speech at most. โCan You Feel the Love Tonightโ is basically just Beyoncรฉ singing, (itโs during the day as well). The awesome African theme that played when Simba is returning is taken out and replaced with Beyoncรฉ chanting. The only actual good songs in this entire soundtrack are Circle of Life and Stampede.
The original lion king soundtrack form 1994 is definitely better, but I do still love that Hans Zimmer came back to make the music for this live adaptation of one of the greatest Disney movies of all time!!
Lion King is my favorite Disney movie from when I was kid. I'm pretty sure I ruined the VHS with the amount of times I replayed that movie. The soundtrack is very near and dear to my heart. Beyonce, as talented as she is, was the absolute worst casting decision for this movie. Her voice as Nala seemed way too elegant, and finessed compared to the innocence and playfulness of the animated Nala. As a singer for the movie, her singing was WAY over the top almost indulgent. Can you Feel the Love Tonight is supposed to be romantic in a cute way but her version did not give me any feels. Instead, I found myself rolling my eyes when she started the riffs and runs during the song. It's a song meant for two long lost friends who realized they love each other not some epic ballad for the hardships of the world. Don't get me started on Spirit and how unnecessary it was in the film. Wrong choice. If they make the second one, I hope they recast.
I think this soundtrack for the remake of lion king album was GOOD but not GREAT like the original sound track from the lion king cartoon version that was released in 1994, it will never beat it and to be honest years from now I feel the original 1994 soundtrack will always be timeless not this album to be honest but in the end of the day I do admire the attempt and I still think overall the album is good, some songs weren't as good as the original but still the album is ok/good. When it comes to Beyonce I am not a fanatic of hers but I think she is a great entertainer, at the sametime her tracks were not the best of the album and soon will be forgotten. I will say though if you are not a fan of beyonce and her music this album still won't dissapoint you because majority of the tracks in the soundtrack are not from her so my advise is just donโt get the tracks that include her and enjoy the rest of the album. Thank God though Hans Zimmer, Elton John & Lebo M were brought back to do this album or this album would have ended horribly.

Thereโs so much hate on this! Disney did a beautiful job! I loved the animation and singing! Their voices had so many vocals that I adored! I was in love with young and older simbas voices! Beyoncรฉ was amazing and I loved how their voices were together. I will always love the original but this remake was soooo spectacular โค๏ธ

The original album still holds up to this day, this just feels like a poor excuse to cash in on the Lion King hype. The previous Disney live action movies had decent at best great soundtracks. But this one is by far the weakest and tragic, Iโm sure with more effort the album could at the very least could have been a good album on its own.
Not only the movie, but the songs and score are amazing and just as great as the original. The only stains are โBe Prepared (2019)โ and the lack of songs from the broadway cast recording. However its almost been a year since its release and I am still blasting this soundtrack on repeat. The new versions of โHakuna Matataโ and โCan You Feel The Love Tonightโ surpass the original ! I love BOTH, no ALL THREE versions of โThe Lion Kingโ from the original, to broadway, rhythm of the pride lands, all the way to the 2019 version. LONG LIVE THE KING ! ๐ฆ๐คด๐พ
The music remains true to the original while updating it for the remake. I just wish Beyoncรฉ and Elton John recorded an end-credits version of Can You Feel The Love Tonight.๐

Iโll start by saying the Hans zimmer stuff is obviously AMAZING, but all the re-done songs are absolutely horrendous and sound so forced. I really wished they decided to cast actual voice actors rather than celebrities because it just leads to a terrible soundtrack (and movie). Also, what the **** is Beyoncรฉ thinking?? She is singing like itโs a early 2000โs ballad instead of how Nala is as a character. Who thought that was a good idea? It takes all the emotion out of it and makes it sound so generic. I honestly feel bad for Donald Glover because he actually sounds like heโs portraying a character and not just singing like itโs his own song. Beyoncรฉ completely missed the point of how voice acting works.
Circle of life was amazing (my HS Choir sang this for state got third:) but just canโt wait to be king a Hakuna Matata idk if I spelled it right but while watching to movie it didnโt feel the same I kept asking myself whereโs the Disney feeling?

The score of Zimmer is far better than the original. The same cannot be said for a few singing pieces like Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Hakuna Matata, and Be Prepared. Circle of Life and Canโt Wait To Be King are pretty good. Be Prepared is decent, but cut too short.

Hans Zimmer back? The best choice they ever made in this mediocre frame for frame copycat they call a โlive actionโ. If they had gotten anyone else that would have been just plain wrong. No complaints on the songs he wrote, cause they are like the originals just with a little 2019 twist. Elton John? Yes please. Everything else? Pretty much beloved songs that are now butchered. I was a bit disheartened by some of the so-so reviews of this album from iTunes users, but upon downloading and listening to the album I personally think the people who did not give this album great marks need to lock themselves in a room and just listen to this album again. The sound quality is excellent. The entire album is blasted with beautiful and exciting African inspired themes and instruments, and Hans Zimmer really spared no expense in his 2019 update to his original ward winning album from 1994. Overall this album is amazing. One of the biggest complaints is the changing of the song "Be Prepared". After listening to it many times, I actually love this version. It is different than the animated one, so both versions can be enjoyed. Elton John's newest addition to the Lion King family is excellent and very upbeat with a good message. Overall the album is a fantastic addition to the animated score, and both are different enough to be enjoyed together. After all, how much fun would this soundtrack be if they just copied the animaed one note for note and word for word? There would be no point in buying this album. Look at Alan Menken's score for the Live Action "Beauty and the Beast". Most of the songs on the album were different than the animated one, but the album was fantastic and also paired well with its animated sibling. People need to think about the context of these remake films and movies instead of judging them as unworthy simply because they differ from the film/score they grew up with. Change is good. This album is no different. Kudos to Disney for these remakes. I'm loving them all.
Just bad. Really, really bad. You can tell by previewing the songs that the cast cannot sing to save their lives. Only song worth buying is by Elton John.

Can You Feel The Love Tonight is just so beautiful. I think that song & the score by returning composer; Hans Zimmer are worth purchasing. The other songs like; Circle of Life( fav song!๐), Be Prepared, & Just Cant Wait to Be King, I found offbeat, butchered, & was pretty disappointed.

It doesnโt happen very often that a remake of a soundtrack does the original any justice. I was hoping and praying that The Lion King (2019) soundtrack would not only be good, but great. I am so happy to say that this soundtrack enhances the sound of the original but does not try to replace the original. An example of this is โCan You Feel The Love Tonight?โ - the artists sing in their style and provide a fresh take on the song but still respect the feel of the original. Well done Disney. Refreshing.

Once again Beyoncรฉโs vocal prowess is exemplified in this song. The sheer technique and control Beyoncรฉ has over her voice is amazing. She floats through the song, which is a shear contrast to her other recent song โSpiritโ rich in heavy vocals. Donald Glover is also pleasing to hear and the comedic tones of Rogen and Eichner are refreshing. Definitely did the song justice.

This film is one of the best films ever because: you can see the insides of the animals mouths, The animals really look like animals, and the songs are amazing I could see him all day. So whatโs this film no matter what anybody else says. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
5 original songs are ruined by Williams; Disney should've cast different singers for Oliver, Eichner, and Rogen if they're incapable of singing. Think of Heidi Mollenhauer who backed Demi Moore in the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Glover and Knowles-Carter failed to make a perfect harmony where Beyonce litterally overwhelmed Glover. Last but not least, Can You Feel the Love Tonight Remix in 2003 Special Edition would make a more proper end title.

Love the new versions of the original songs!
Yes, I love the original. It is a true classic that will never be replaced, but this is a great addition to the timeless classics the lion king gives us. The casting was great, and Beyoncรฉโs powerful majestic voice suits Nala well. I love the addition of Spirit (which has an amazing video to accompany it). All in all a fabulous job. Well done to the team and cast that was involved in this soundtrack. I cannot wait for the movie.

Having watched the movie and now listening to this soundtrack, I have to say I prefer the original (sorry guys!). Canโt say Iโm a fan of Beyoncรฉ to be honest, her songs donโt really do it for me. Great voice but not my style of music. The song โCan You Feel The Love Tonightโ in 1994โs Disney version is much better, I felt the romance and connection in both the singers voices. โBe Preparedโ, again not a patch on Jeremy Irons, especially when I noticed the famous line โYou Wonโt Get A Sniff Without Me!! / Youโll never go hungry again!โ has been cut from the 2019 version! The score is great but again, much prefer the original from 1994. Great effort though.

Lion King was my favourite Disney film growing up, and after listening to this soundtrack I am so upset by the AWFUL changed Disney has made to the songs. My Lion King has just been torn into shreds.
