The Mix Kills It For Me. Of Mice and Men are one of the bands that got me into Metalcore and I have no problem with the band continuing without Austin Carlisle. Here’s the problem: I find the mixing of EARTHANDSKY make it nearly unlistenable. I felt the same way about Defy. I press play and I have to check my EQ because it sounds off. The vocals, guitars and drums all sound super compressed and flat. The mix is really subpar compared to recent releases from some of their peers with really good mixing. That’s disappointing because I’d really like this album otherwise.

Love it. Liked a couple songs they made here and there from albums like 6 years ago or more but I love this entire album. It's a bit heavier and it makes everyone stare

Awesome record. This record did not disappoint. Aaron Pauley has elevated them to a new level. Really liking how much heavier this record is. Defy was great but EARTHANDSKY really packs that metalcore punch. Don’t sleep on this record!

Don’t hate it, don’t love it. They brought the heavy which was nice, but the majority of the songs seem super repetitive when listening to making it feel like they drag on and on. Aside from a few singles nothing much really stands out as something worth throwing on repeat

This is generic. These guys are so talented. But they aren't anywhere near what they could achieve. This is generic bs to the greatest extent. Did Austin really make this much of a difference? If so, rename your band.

OM&M For Life🤘. I loved every single off this record and heard a little snippet of Meltdown and it sounds so sick. I’m so excited and I honestly can’t wait anymore. I’ve been a fan since 2011 and I’ve liked everything they’ve put out and of course bought everything they’ve put out. I saw three other reviews that I think are stupid, especially that one guy that put one star and said it was trash, I bet he didn’t even listen to any of the songs, he’s probably one those die hard Austin Carlile fans, what a wussy but take out the W and replace it with a P and that’s what he really is. I like Austin and all but people just need to move on already. I don’t like Of Mice & Men just because Austin, I like Of Mice & Men because of the music THEY ALL put out. OM&M is very Underated and deserve way better than what these stupid idiots are giving them.

What’s Up With The Mix??. I’ve been a fan of Of Mice and Men for a few years now and have listened to each record pretty closely to notice the difference in quality of mixing. If you go to something like The Depths, it punches and your feel the serrated edges of the guitar and scream tracks, while the drums and bass punch the feel of the song every second until the end. These mixes and even the ones on the last record feel hollow? You can clearly hear each element in the song, but there’s no feeling behind it? It doesn’t make me want to lunge forward and scream with it because the mix feels flat and uninteresting, despite the fact that they have interesting riffs and drum patterns. Hire a different mixing producer.

Nice. I liked the last album a lot but this is sounding like one of the best ones they’ve put out in a while. Hope the rest of the album maintains a similar edge.

Om&m. Never gave this band a chance after Austin left, but I cannot believe how they are staying heavy and even going heavier, that’s exactly what they needed to do.
