Derivative. This sound is so derivative of the Whit Stripes and so many other pop acts. Seems like Green Day’s rock/punk prowess is done for. At least the dimwit, feeble tweeners & trendy will buy a sing or two. That will put some $$ in their pockets. Seems like that’s all Green Day is all about now.

No Thanks. This is by far the worst music Green Day has ever made! Even shenanigans was better and that was mostly B-sides. If this is new Green Day they are losing a fan from the Kerplunk days. RIP. Green Day

New Producer. Their New Producer is really pushing them. I think “Fire, Ready, Aim” is their best radio single since “21 Guns” in 2009. The music industry is a different animal, now. It’s sad that it won’t receive the play time it deserves.

Liberals. If I could delete ALL prior GD music I would, but I spent a lot of my hard earned cash on their albums back when they just rocked... classic Liberals and nice Rainbow BTW (gag). Way to piss away all of your past cred. From the way this crap sounds, you had Biden, Harris and Pelosi singing background vocals. Go AWAY!!!

OK not traditional GD but still OK. Almost 3 decades now I’ve been listening to Green Day. I had higher hopes for a sound long ago, but this is a bridge album in contracting. So with that fact in mind, the first two songs aren’t that bad. I can turn up the volume, get lost in non-GD backtracks and listen to something kinda of new. I’m with the other reviews though...waiting for the next album release. As for someone complaining that this album is not punk...sorry but Green Day is great and I love you ‘em but they have never sense Int’l Superhits been punk...just all out good music and story telling.

Not awful, but could be better. green day is trying to sound new, which i understand, but sometimes change can be a good thing. i think father of all (the track) would’ve been better as a single rather than the title track, but that’s just my opinion. it’s not bad, but could be better...

I’ve been a GIGANTIC GREEN DAY for over 20 years, and love that Billie Joe, Mike and Tre Cool always seem to reinvent themselves. Can’t wait for the rest of the album, and the HELLA MEGA TOUR !!! Keep doing what you do guys !!!

Green Day is Green Day. How many pop punk albums did they make? In all there albums had more than two of my favorite songs and it’s hard for a band to do that. Weezer going out with van weezer. Rock and roll era was truly missed. I think it’s a great investment, stop being so passive aggressive, and you love Green Day and you’re hating on them. Go back listen to the lyrics and be a better person. Clearly most of you don’t it. I’m supporting this album.

Meh. Not a big fan of the song. Not sure about the fan theory of another album right away. Been a fan since 1992. All I can say is Green Day never show their hand and always bounce back with at least a few gems per album. Hoping this remains true. Time will tell...

Mourning the death of Green Day. This is awful. I have been a fan since ‘94 and I can’t even believe this is the same band. I’d rather them retire on a good note than have them play this crap. I really thought it was the Jonas brothers... when I first heard it. I understand bands experimenting and I felt like they had already been doing that but still sticking to their true sound. I guess, this is a sad goodbye. RIP GREEN DAY... And RIP the son of rage and love.

Not to review bomb, but.... I used to be a fan of Green Day’s music back in the day. I didn’t even agree with Billy Joe’s political views. I was a Republican but I’m now an independent voter, but I still liked American Idiot when it came out. Recently, they just appear to be sell outs and tools. You don’t tell your fan base to “f#@$ off” if they disagree with you! I voted for Donald Trump, which I know will signal a lot of people attack me. I don’t expect rock bands of any genre to know about the current political landscape, but we ended up with the current President. I could respect Billy Joe disagreeing with my politics, but attacking those who disagree with you and vilifying them is flat out wrong. Congratulations, Green Day. You are on the s#&$list of a large majority of Americans and are, therefore, a trio of true American Idiots.

Green Day - Father of All... Album Wiki

Father of All Motherfuckers (more commonly known by its censored form, Father of All...) is the upcoming thirteenth studio album by American rock band Green Day, set to be released on February 7, 2020 through Reprise Records. According to lead vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong, the album is "The New! soul, Motown, glam and manic anthemic. Punks, freaks and punishers!" He would also state that the lyrics are about "the life AND death of the party" and the "lifestyle of not giving a fuck." .
