About Confetti by Jack Harlow Album

Confetti is Jack Harlow’s fifth official project, marking his second full release since sealing his key to mainstream recognition by signing with DJ Drama’s Generation Now record label. The mixtape is headlined by the lead single “THRU THE NIGHT” which features Harlow and platinum-award-winning Bryson Tiller rapping over a sample of Usher’s classic track “U Don’t Have To Call.” The project sees Harlow stay true to his hometown roots in Kentucky, as features from Louisville artists 2forwOyNE and EST Gee can be seen on the tracks “WARSAW” and “ROTTEN.” Additionally, both singles released off the project have some influence from his hometown city, as “HEAVY HITTER” was produced by Grammy-nominated Louisville native Willy Will and the aforementioned “THRU THE NIGHT” features Louisville native, Bryson Tiller. From the playfully egocentric rap showcase on the opening track “GHOST,” to the laid back introspective vibes that can be heard on the closing track “RIVER ROAD,” Confetti touches points all across the rap spectrum.

Buying all this dudes music. What’s poppin put Jack on my radar. Looked up every song, freestyle, and interview and buying the music because I believe it’s good music. The album checks all the boxes, switches up vibes, big feature on a single with radio potential,Meaningful songs, turn up jams, great album art. Feels like he still finding his lane at times in the middle section but in the mean time he keep goin over different styles and riding beats that require a really skilled cadence while doing it super in a non-chalant way. Harlow has put out 3 quality projects in the last 2 or so years. Makes you wonder if Uzi is to blame or if it’s actually his label holding him up. Looking forward to some more videos to drop from this tape.

Confetti Wiki

Confetti are small pieces or streamers of paper, mylar, or metallic material which are usually thrown at celebrations, especially parades and weddings. The origins are from the Latin confectum, with confetti the plural of Italian confetto, small sweet. Modern paper confetti trace back to symbolic rituals of tossing grains and sweets during special occasions, traditional for numerous cultures throughout history as an ancient custom dating back to pagan times, but adapted from sweets and grains to paper through the centuries. Confetti are manufactured in multiple colors, and commercially available confetti come in many different shapes. A distinction is made between confetti and glitter; glitter is smaller than confetti (pieces usually no larger than 1 mm) and is universally shiny. Most table confetti is also shiny. While they are called metallic confetti they are actually metallized PVC. Most party supply stores carry paper and metallic confetti. Confetti are commonly used at social gatherings such as parties, weddings, and Bar Mitzvahs. The simplest confetti are simply shredded paper (see ticker-tape parade), and can be made with scissors or a paper shredder. Chads punched out of scrap paper are also common. A hole punch makes small round chads, and a ticket punch makes more elaborate chads. Most pieces of paper flats will flutter as tumblewings giving long flight times. In the early 21st century the use of confetti as a cosmetic addition to trophy presentations at sporting events became increasingly common. In this case, larger strips of paper (typically measuring 20 mm × 60 mm) in colors appropriate to the team or celebration are used. For smaller volumes of confetti, ABS or PVC "barrels" are filled and the confetti is projected via a "cannon" (a small pressure vessel) using compressed air or carbon dioxide. For larger venues or volumes of confetti, a venturi air mover powered by carbon dioxide is used to propel significantly larger volumes of confetti greater distances.
