Just watched the documentary about Lil Peep on Netflix to maybe keep tabs on current culture. All I could could see was a confused tattooed boy surrounded by other confused individuals going down the rabbit hole of drugs and delirium. This kid wasn’t a bad person, he was just so far in the dark that he couldn’t see what was waiting in the bushes. People, you have only one life, don’t waste it.

I’m glad that his legacy is living on.

Never listened to Lil Peep before he died, so I’m unbiased. Really my only complaint with this album is the recording quality, several tracks have awful recording, really killing them. It works well on a few tracks, like cobain, making it sound low-fi. In short, bad quality mic, good songs

Rip Peep

Imagine hating on an artist just because you cannot personally relate to their music or don’t like their style, and giving this a one star because of him talking about drugs is foolish. Just because YOU think it’s bad doesn’t mean it is, everyone has their own tastes. I will stand by my opinion that Gustav Åhr is a legend and has changed hip-hop forever for the better.

Amazing what a blessing

If you go back and listen to old mixtapes / albums ect. You’ll find it’s not this picture painted with most of these songs, most of these are just unfinished studio recordings with features and loops to make it sound “complete”. I couldn’t see peep rapping of half these nor going down the mumble rap road. Love the kid, and I guess I can understand where cooperate is coming from by trying to finish projects peep left behind.

this album encompasses the style he was transitioning into, one i wish he was able to birth into fruition. not only are we lucky to receive a ¡2nd¡ post-death album, we’re lucky it’s not full of interludes. we get real content. all in all, i L☹️VE this album.

1 yr ago this album was released n there’s only 2 out of the 19 songs i don’t rlly like which are ratchets n white tee from his crybaby tape. other than that i luv all these tracks sm & it’s v hard to choose a top 3 out of them, but i’d say a couple of my favorites are PRINCESS + fangirl. peep was such a great artist & was skilled at creating original, unique music for every mood. we’ll always remember u gus. <3

Okay, so I’m having major flashbacks. I actually saw this kid perform in Los Angeles a month before he passed. I was living just down the street from the venue at the time, and I honestly hadn’t really heard any of his songs other than “Beamer Boy” and “Awful Things,” but I was extremely intrigued by his music. I remember him singing a song that I thought was called “I’m Kissing Styrofoam” and it completely gave me chills the way he belted it out. After he died, I found out this was a song he never actually released. All these years later, I go back to listening to Lil Peep and realize the song is now on this compilation and is actually called “Moving On.” I know, it’s insane that I’m just now finding this out, but I’m so ecstatic because I thought that song was just a memory and now I can listen to it again and again. R.I.P. Peep 🐣

If I have heard of him before, I would love him more than I do now. And if I knew that he lived in the same area near me (Long Island), I would’ve been all over him.
