John’s voice is still the same: legendary, classic, country and twangy! This is what country needs and is missing! John is the MAN!
Awesome country
I've loved him since he started singing and I couldn't pass this up! I just got back from the Everglades and thought of Seminole Wind so many times on that trip.
He keeps making me proud we’re from the same town. John is a legend.
Great to see John back with an amazing song!
My first introduction to John Anderson’s music was through my Pawpaw playing and singing “Swingin’”. Boy, could he get down to that song. My mom tells a story about how Pawpaw once pulled over on the side of the highway just to hop out of the car and dance to that song. He never seemed to care what people thought and he LOVED the attention lol. This new album by John Anderson album reminds me of my Pawpaw. It’s about growing old, living hard, living longer than everyone expected, reconciliation, and moving on. My Pawpaw passed away this last October and I took it pretty hard. I can’t pick up a guitar without thinking about him. Listening to this album has brought me a sense of closure that I did not have before. Thank you John Anderson. My Pawpaw would have loved it.
I LOVE the sound of John and Blake’s voices together! This is a fantastic song and it is definitely on repeat! Good work gentlemen!
John was and still is one of the most underrated artists ever. He is easily in my Top 3 artists of all time. His tone and voice are so unimaginable timeless. I’d rather listen to this one album for years than listen to so many of these new overproduced songs. John just has the talent that keeps me coming back listening to his songs, and I will keep coming back for years to come.
Great album John. Glad your back!!
Great song, anxiously awaiting the album.
Beginning to end great album. Country at it's best.
The Third Wave! Riding again with the heart and soul of John Anderson. If this ain’t a Number 1 the A&R kids need to go back to L.A. & NYC. Once again John has hit solid gold country!! Dr. Tomas
He is still AMAZING! So glad he is back singing! 🙂
Real country is hard to find anymore with this pop stuff these day. Thanks for still kicking the real stuff out. Us old souls love it
John Anderson is classic. His music will carry on for generations.
Always makes me happy to see another 80s and 90s artist make a return! Such a legend.
It’s a shame that we will never hear this on mainstream “country “ stations. Thanks John for continuing to make real country music!
Love the song "Years". Look forward to the rest of the album.
What is country in 2020? The same thing it has been since 1980, John Anderson. His voice and music stand out as a breath of fresh (yet familiar) air. Pause that bro/tractor rap "country" for a few minutes and listen to this album. It could be the album of the year!
A timeless, authentic , unmistakable sound.
True John Anderson and classic music young artists take notice so you can have a long career also love it!!!
This album should serve as a guide book to how modern country should sound. It has awesome modern production, but remains true to country roots, with real instruments. And the background vocals are superb, it often has a great choral feel to it, almost reminiscent of 70s pop. There are no fake hip-hop, bro-country bass beats here. It's real music. John Anderson is truly a unique, timeless voice in country music, and he sounds better than ever on this album, even while battling health issues just prior to recording this album. Awesome album, I highly recommend it!
Love the first 2 songs. Can’t wait for the rest.
Loving the first couple songs released! This man is a legend in the business and his voice still has the same unique sound!
Finally some real country music in a world that is starved of real country songs!
What a great new collection of songs by one of the best country music singers ever!! A badly needed bright spot right now with everything going on !!
This is what country sounds like folks.
It is so great to hear new music from John Anderson. His voice is a familiar and comforting sound in a chaotic time. I love all the songs. I am so happy to have this new music. That voice! Awesome!
Amazing and the voice is just so distinctive ! Great job!
Oh my goodness, what a gift this album is: John’s voice and unique abilities are matched by the depth of life reflection and meaning that pours forth from these songs. IF the industry would guide stations to play these, John Anderson would be listened to and celebrated all the more.

A year is the time taken for astronomical objects to complete one orbit. For example, a year on Earth is the time taken for Earth to revolve around the Sun. Generally, a year is taken to mean a calendar year, but the word is also used for periods loosely associated with the calendar or astronomical year, such as the seasonal year, the fiscal year, the academic year, etc. The term can also be used in reference to any long period or cycle, such as the Great Year. Due to the Earth's axial tilt, the course of a year sees the passing of the seasons, marked by change in weather, the hours of daylight, and, consequently, vegetation and soil fertility. In temperate and subpolar regions around the planet, four seasons are generally recognized: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In tropical and subtropical regions, several geographical sectors do not present defined seasons; but in the seasonal tropics, the annual wet and dry seasons are recognized and tracked.
