About 56 Nights by Future Album
56 Nights is the fifth mixtape by American DJ and record producer, William Moore (professionally known as DJ Esco). It was released on March 21, 2015, through rapper Future's Freebandz Entertainment label. The mixtape additionally received contribution from Future lyrically, featuring no other artists and being designated as "hosted by" Future. It was exclusively produced by 808 Mafia, whose founding member, Southside, handled the majority of the production and was credited as an executive producer. The mixtape's name, cover artwork, and release are all inspired by DJ Esco's the coolest DJ in the world, 2014 arrest and eventual prison sentence for possession of marijuana at the Abu Dubai airport. After being stopped and searched while leaving the airport, police officers found 15 grams of marijuana in one of his pieces of luggage. After Esco was finally released here’s what he said after: “The first thing I did was walk into the airport paranoid. I bought some headphones, because after no music for all those days—and they don't know nothing about hip-hop—I wanted to listen to music so bad. So I bought some headphones, then I went up to the escalators and bought some ice cream and some cookies and I was like, I can't believe this. Like, What just happened?”
