Chris Stapleton hands down has brought country back to its highwayman days. Back to the era of Hank, Waylon, Willie, Kris, Merle, & George. All four of his albums are incredible from the first to the last track. As soon as you press play you get this uncanny urge to grab a beer and a lawn chair call some friends over and enjoy life for Awhile. Surely this fellas will soon join many others in the country music hall of fame with the many other artist who actually have music talent and don’t just Jose pose it on cmt.

This album takes me to another place. Love it!

If you’re a fan of his other albums, songs of drinking, heart ache, rebel like songs skip this album. It’s just upbeat mostly and strays from his previous work. I listened to this at least five times all the way through, nothing memorable or too catchy. It’s just background feel good music from someone I expect more from. Like if you’re favorite singer song writer just pushed out a pop radio friendly album. I hope he gets back to his roots and add more soul and r and b back into his work.

It may not be his best, but my god it is a great album. Maggie’s song, geez.

As usual, the master story teller does NOT let me down. Anyone who has ever had the luck of having that one dog in their life that they will NEVER forget will cry with Maggie’s Song. Any of his songs that has “whiskey” in the title always gets my attention. Needless to say I’m so thankful that I now have another one of his albums because after all, I have all of his released albums!

In my books, Chris is the best of todays country.

Chris Stapleton is a terrific singer/songwriter. He’s not just a country singer but has a real blues and rock sound. There’s nothing this man cannot do musically. Starting over is another fantastic album from him!

I can listen to each and everyone of his songs. Love it.

What a heart touching, convalescent album. I really love the warmth and comfort in the guitar in starting over and the tears it produces deep in my soul. Chris’ voice makes me want to dance with him and feel the vibrations of him singing as we dance together.

Anyone else have issues playing this song? Seems to be corrupt or something?? Aside from that LOVE the new album but want the copy of Hillbilly Blood fixed!

On my first listen of this album, I thought it was okay, maybe 3.5 out of 5 stars but I just listened to it for a second and third time and I’m so glad I did because it’s amazing! I can’t wait to see him in concert again! His voice is amazing and I just can’t get enough of him!

I can only review on the bases of the first two tracks and based on them I can't wait for the full release . Vocal preformace on Cold has got to rank as the best Country male preformance in the last 5 years they are nothing short of incredible .
