- Yummy Album!!

Another awesome album from Chris! Slow, soft, romantic. There aren't enough words! He is an amazing musician and I look forward to all of his music. He performs absolutely well live and his cds are just as awesome.

- To Love Again

Wonderful - again. Great music to help you relax and unwind. Not bad for someone that went to Indiana University (of course, only a Purdue grad would say that). Great job, Chris.

- Every track, listen after listen, is luxuriant.

Download the entire album - every song is worth owning. "What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life" featuring Sting has to be the sexiest song ever. Sting has quietly perfected The American Songbook. Of course the American songbook is being taken to new heights by Michael Buble and there is steamy heat for his guest duet "Let There Be Love" at Track 4. Jill Scott's elegant touch for "Good Morning Heartache" at track 6 is reminiscent of creamy jazz vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald but with contemporary flair. The underlying rhythm of that track makes it a unique listen and one of my favorite tracks. I think the simplicity of track 7: "To Love Again" has me coming back the most though as my most favorite track with arrangement by Gil Goldstein; gentle guitar by Anthony Wilson; extraordinary piano by Billy Childs; bass by Robert Hurst; and drums by Billy Kilson. I love that listen because you can hear the richness of Chris Botti's trumpet where can focus like a laser with perfect pitch or grace across a melody like a pebble skips across the surface of a still lake. He approaches his music with great care, whether his notes are short and sweet or long and lush they are all always graceful, obviously the result of years of practice and reworking his own unique style.

- A Lot To Love (And A Little To Dislike)

Chris Botti is an amazing musician and I think it's unfortunate that there doesn't appear to be enough consumer support to justify releasing recordings of solely instrumental music. I realize that in order for Botti's recordings to be commercially successful he needs to collaborate with vocalists; I wish he was a little more discriminating in his choices (or is it the powers that be at his label who make these choices?). Gladys Knight's vocals on "Lover Man" are wonderful as is Jill Scott on "Good Morning Heartache". Botti and Paula Cole have always been a good combination and Sting is quite good (not affected unlike some of his other recent recordings). Unfortunately Botti also collaborates with a couple lesser artists: Michael Buble' is his usual smarmy and cheesy self and Steven Tyler's version of "Smile" is simply awful.

This is one of Chris Botti's best. A Symbiosis of trumpet & vocals with some of the best and most eclectic of today's singers Steven Tyler, Michael Buble, Renee Olstead, Sting, Jill Scott, Paula Cole, Edie Brickell, and the find of the Century Rosa Passos. A CD that is great to relax, meditate, or just sit back and listen to hour after hour. This is a must have for anyone with ears and a heart, and an appreciation of true musical talent.

Botti is good - the singer makes this song great - It's Steven Tyler of Aerosmith - this got me researching and i found ST on utube singing Amazing Grace - These 2 should do more together

This recording is pure greatness, there is a return of instrumental jazz, and it is great. Ever song on this album is vivid and full of soul, download it, you will love it.

Naturally that is why I adore Chris Botii’s title song To Love Again; it allows you to appreciate his talents alone. I have learned that this cd is a real crowd pleaser and a great conversational piece.
