Pennatonix, your regular songs are rather nasty just stick to Christmas music please 😉

- Not quite as “a capella” sounding

The quality of the songs are superb. However, sometimes I swear I hear music. Whatever effects they’re doing to the backup singing takes away from that distinct a capella sound. I miss that raw quality. But let’s not get it twisted. They sound amazing. They’re simply evolving.

As a fan for years, I am used to powerful vocals and incredible beatboxing from these talented musicians. This album still took me by surprise! Each song is so well crafted both lyrically and musically. There are dance songs, ballads, feel good bops and even techno style house beats. Phenomenal!

Once again, Pentatonix has shown us there is no boundaries! Sometimes I even forget it’s acapella because it sounds like it can be next to a Justin Bieber or Dua Lipa album seamlessly. Their originals always succeed! This is only their 2nd original album in their 10 year trajectory and honestly they should stick to more original content. Sure throw a cover here and there but their focus now should be strictly originals because they have the talent, they have potential to make their own sound the primary focus.

WORDS CANT DESCRIBE from the lyrics to production just to how well they mesh, this Album has proved to be one for the time. Those that listen, should be considered the Lucky Ones as the album does not dissapoint from the first bum to the last word “come” on the last song. Very Well Done. Soaking this album up. I think like many PTX fans, I didn't know how the group would do with Matt joining. Their musicianship, cohesion, song-writing just keeps amazing me. They make pop not boring with their nuance, song arrangement, and interesting chord progressions. Fresh pop and incredible talent from each member. Love it and can't wait to see them live someday. Instantly loving Lucky ones, Coffee in Bed, Exit Signs - I'm sure the rest of the album will grow on me too.

Somehow, i can relate to ‘Never gonna cry again,’ which is sad. Other than that, none of the other songs really stood out to me like Cracked or Hallelujah. But, my god, you go PTX!
