- Figure Skating

I am a figure skater, I am looking for music. I love the songs on here they are perfect!

- Amazing Spectacular Fantastic Breathtaking Joy

This album is amazing from beginning to end. The musicians have complete control over their instruments and they play beautiful music.

- Very enjoyable

The greatest strength of this music is its variety, from the quiet of "Half Moon Ascending" to the militant, wild solo of "Laying An Ambush On All Sides". With very few exceptions, these compositions for mixed Western/Chinese orchestra are extremely listenable. And the Chinese style of composition, which follows emotions more than a symphonic plan, is very refreshing to me. I listen to a lot of Western classical music, and this is an extremely enjoyable, and very creative, addition to my music library.

- Moonlit Classical Experience

China—the massive country is home to so many cultures, many rich heritages. This traditional instrumental music is brilliantly played. I particular like the “Moonlit Night on Spring River”. If you’re looking for some good Chinese classical music, look no further, this is the one.

- awesome!

tyhis is a great album loooove it!

- The Mind Can Rest

Chinese Classical Music at its finest filled with beautiful flute, strings, drums, all very articulately arranged to exude that calm of classical music. The mind can rest and still gain from such a unique CD likes this one. Song duration varies in this one still you will be compelled to hear each graceful song. Composition on this CD is fantastically arranged and directed. It is one you may like to listen to alone or with friends. Over all I felt this collection of songs are very beautiful.

Chinese Classical Music Wiki

The music of China consists of many distinct traditions, often specifically originating with one of the country's various ethnic groups. It is produced within and without the country, involving either people of Chinese origin, the use of traditional Chinese instruments, Chinese music theory, or the languages of China. It includes traditional classical forms and indigenous folk music, as well as recorded popular music and forms inspired by Western culture. Documents and archaeological artifacts from early Chinese civilization show a well-developed musical culture as early as the Zhou dynasty (1122–256 BC) that set the tone for the continual development of Chinese musicology in following dynasties. These developed into a wide variety of forms through succeeding dynasties, producing the heritage that is part of the Chinese cultural landscape today. Traditional forms continued to evolve in the modern times, and over the course of the last centuries forms appropriated from the West have become widespread. Today's Chinese music is both rooted in history and part of a global culture.
