Loved all the sons, especially We Are. I feel like Jon Baptistery is one of those very wise old souls and that he can do anything and succeed at it!

Love the variety. Besides I Need You, which several folks have pointed out, check out We Are. Truly wonderful song, and he taps into talented others and kids. These two are 5 stars!!

It feels like Jon Batiste is arriving out of no where, but that would be disrespectful to his lifetime of music, which he carries around with such joy. If anyone can change the world through music (and his dancing) ...it will be Jon Batiste. He’s brought joy and beats and music into my days, and by example showing us all how to live. Oh, and this album f*#%! ROCKS!

I’ve grown to appreciate Jon’s music. “Hollywood Africans” was outstanding. Once I heard he was multiple Grammy nominated I gave this one a listen. I like it a lot Reminds me of the albums that Stevie Wonder put out in the 70’s with its variety of styles.

I haven’t had an artist sweep me off my feet like this in a LONG time. Adore this guy so much. This album will be a non-stop favorite this summer

I am embarrassed to confess that all I knew of Jon Batiste was that he was the band leader on The Late Show. I just happened to watch his performance on Austin City Limits last night, and he blew me away. What an incredible artist he is. What a performer! He is a great human being on top of all that. I love this album, and have become a huge fan of this musician.

Happened to catch the end of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Jon Batiste was performing this song. I instantly fell in love, and immediately had to buy! I will be getting the album!!! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

Saw him at Carnegie Hall Thursday night. A real musical genius, so gifted, so rare. Had to check check out this album… and of course I bought it. I am now a lover of his music, mind and art 🎶

This is the first album of his I have been able to listen to so I may be surprised by all of it. Whenever I hear him improvise stuff on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert I can do with or without it. But this album caught me by surprise. Tapping my foot on every track. Believe it or not, I’m not a huge upbeat music fan, if you can see where my other reviews are it isn’t in this genre. I thought this was worth me reviewing. Also I am gifting this to some family members as well because the price is great right now as well. Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoy this album as much as I do.
