- A rock god and a bluegrass goddess

The first album from these two together is one of my favorites. The second go around sounds awesome so far!! Both are legends and fit together perfectly.

- Authentic

Who says there is no good no music being made today? Well. look no further.

- Masterful

This album and its predecessor are great examples of what happens when you take people who are just genuinely fantastic musicians and let them alone. To my ears, this music transcends any genre and places the spotlight on the songs themselves. Beautifully arranged and performed, this is the best type of album--the kind you can just put on and listen to from start to finish and feel like you went on a journey by the end of it.

- Been Waiting Patiently

This isTruly a Dynamic Duo, Thank You Alison & Robert Anthony !

- Absolutely Beautiful

I don’t think Robert Plant has ever sounded as good, and that’s saying a lot. Raising Sand was very good, but this is incredible. If I had to be pressed for a favorite song it’d have to be Quattro (World Drifts In), so many good ones.

- krause is held back

Alison Krause is one of the best fiddle players and she does not really perform as before. Plant seems to be the front man and she is second fiddle (pun intended) She has an extraordinary voice that seems more backup. It especially shows in the live concert. Come back Alison!! You are the equal to Plant or better: you not only have the voice but the fiddle playing. The camera followed Plant like he ws a god--not appreciated.

- Pure Raw Talent

These Two collaborate like a Fine Wine . Waiting for the fest of this masterpiece. Alisson and Robert are pure Talent

- #2 for this household

We listen to Raising Sand often so can’t go wrong with this IMHO. Having seen each of them in person at glorious outdoor venues in the Seattle area, it’s fair to say we are fans. Their voices blend beautifully.

- Great blend

Two different styles blended into a country sound that has become special. I really like their voices together mixing a rocker and a sweet country girl that creates great songs when combined.

- Solid Country Gold!

I never knew Robert Plant sang country music as well as rock n roll. Love the sound his and Allison Krause's voices produce! Incredible song in cant let go.

- Raise the Roof

Wondered if this new album would be able to hold its own after the excellent Raising Sand. They’ve done it again. Fantastic album!

- Even Better than Raising Sand

This recording is a home run. I like the song selection even better than their first collaboration, Raising Sand. I anticipate listening to this album over and over and over again.

- Bravo!

When one enters the Pearly Gates Of Heaven, one will hear these two voices singing. A great and must listen album 😇

- Beauty and the Beast!

The iconic collaboration have done it again. The tunes sound so refined. A testament to a great band and exceptional songwriting. Love it!

- Another magical collaboration

These two can do no wrong together. I thought Raising Sand was the best they could be but was pleasantly surprised on this album. Same perfectly blended vocals with a slightly edgier tone on most tracks. Highly recommend, especially if Raising Sand was a fave.

- Instant Classic!

This is one of my favorite albums released this year. The sound is rock, blues and country blended and performed to perfection.

- Plant/ Krause

Looking forward to this

- Pure magic

Three tracks in and this is magnificent. I see awards in the future. Must have been special seeing these songs being born and hearing history being made. Thank you Robert and Alison.

- Wow!!!!

Perfect!!

- Adore

Never would’ve paired them up. Plant and Krause are the epitome of great chemistry… his leather and her lace = magic. Love every song!

- Putting the Blue in Blue Grass

This is just plain beautiful listening. Both are are in fine voice and their harmonies could not be sweeter. From “Quattro” to “Somebody Was Watching Over Me,” the laid back vibe and blue grass twang creates an escape from the trouble of these times. Robert Plant has been a fave of mine for a long long time. Happy to see him paired with the golden vocals of Alison Krause once again. It just works. Another world of spun silver is created on a track like the sultry “Price of Love” with its slow beat and Krause’s silky slick vocals or the slow flowing ballad “Go Your Way” where rock and blue grass with a hint of blues bends and blends simplicity with quiet power. “Can’t Let Go” is an upbeat cross between Cool Jerk and Wipe Out with a groove and a steel guitar riff that gets the toe tapping. Intimate. Personal. Soulful. Mature. Plant has settled into being crooner with an edge. Alison is just masterful with every note she sings.

- The king of Rock

Allison and Robert are fantastic together!!! So very happy they made more music ! Love what I’v heard so far, looking good to the rest and f the CD:)

- Zzzzzzzzzzz

😵

- Uh…

No

- Awesome!

All I can say is Wowwww! I heard a YouTube clip and I was hooked! These two are like bread and butter together. Truly music to the ears and I can’t wait for all I can get!

- Old rocker

Plant and Kraus are like cheese on apple pie. The most unlikely of ingredients make the best dishes

- Brilliant, again

The righteous, joyful and long overdue reunion of two perfect voices from different musical solar systems.

- Awesome!

Love the music these two make together!!

- Thank god for RP and Alison Krauss!

Flashback to RP solo years! Sounds so reminiscent to his earlier solo albums from the 80s great to hear again.

- Thankful for Robert & Alison reunion

The first song is so delightful! The retro sound, clean, excellent arrangement and productionand performances. Two people who love what they're doing and do it so well. They don't have to prove anything to anyone. Many thanks to T Bone Burnett for bringing them together in the first place. (Please tour!)

- Just amazing.

Even better than Raising Sands, one of my favorite albums ever. The two voices blend beautifully, the song selection is awesome and the musicality is off the charts. I am so glad they revisited the concept.

- Robert

Plant still has that swagger of a 70’s rock god.Guy has been doing it for decades, shifting and morphing along the way but it’s still there if you listen.Single is solid and can’t wait for the rest.Enjoy it now because in 10 years these treasures are all gone.

- Yep

can’t wait!!

- One song

Hard to review an entire album that has t been released from one song. Having said that, first song sounds good- and the previous album was absolutely incredible so I am really looking forward to the new album.

- Thanks

The second album is even better than the first

- Raises the roof

Great album. Beautiful songs with great production from T-Bone.

- Amazing.

The song selection in this album is better than last album. Amazing and powerful music from two master vocalists and musicians.

Amazing 🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰

- jonds56

Good tune. That is a Chip Taylor song, he wrote Angel of the Morning and Wild Thing.
