- really good

i really loved the movie ( rex harrison was hilarious!) and the soundtrack is just as good

- I love it.

My favorite is I Could Have Danced All Night. I feel dumb that this movie has been out for so long, and yet- ...I’ve only seen it once. (≧σ≦) It’s almost embarrassing!

- This soundtrack is so awesome

I love this movie and its soundtrack. It's seriously awesome.

- The Orchestration!!!

What really sells this album for me is the orchestration in the film version. I don't see how anyone could even make an argument that the stage version has a better book.

- My Fair Lady

Ok LOVE IT! :) It has some really good music and it really shows what it was like to have lived in that time period in that place.

- AMAZING MUSICAL!!

This version of "My Fair Lady" is FAR better than the Julie Andrews version! The soundtrack is TERRIFIC!! This has got to be some of the best music from musical theater production that I've ever heard (and that's saying something cuz I've been about 14 on-broadway musicals)!

- Quite Possibly the Best Movie Ever Made

I cannot tell how much I love this soundtrack!! Contrary to popular belief, as wonderful as Julie Andrews was in the original show, I think that Audrey Hepburn and Marni Nixon were beyond amazing together in this film. Of course, there's also Rex Harrison, who, although his character isn't the most likeable, I absolutely adore in this film. He cracks me up in "A Hymn to Him." How great is that number?! "Without You" and "I Could Have Danced All Night" are two of my favorite songs of all time. This is just a wonderful CD!!!

- Why?

Why do you have the Soundtrack and not the actual Movie..... Its my favorite move ever please get it soon!! My mom and I always watch it and i want it on my ipod get it now please!! LOL

- Love it

Great musical. Audrey Hepburn actually sang all the songs originally but I guess they didn't like her voice for the movie. I mean, she sings in every other movie she's in, really. But Marni Nixon is really great too so...

- I Love This Musical

I love the movie. Only 4 stars because iTunes is sneaky. I just bought the album b/c I saw Audrey Hepburn on the album cover and I thought it would be her voice on the soundtrack. No worries, the lady plays Eliza does an okay good job. Think twice if you really want Audrey b/c Marni does a slightly different interpretation.

- THE REAL SOUNDTRACK!

I thought iTunes only had the Julie Andrews version of My Fair Lady for a while, and I was mildly devastated. As one of my favorite musicals, I really wanted THIS soundtrack. Julie Andrews is one of my absolute favorite actresses, but in My Fair Lady, I found her accent atrocious and demeaning to the show. When I finally found this, I was very happy. It's the perfect representation of an endearing show. Unfortunately, with so many instrumental parts, I didn't want to buy the whole album, even though it's quite well priced. You get a lot for your money! Some of the songs I recommend are: Why Can't the English? Wouldn't It Be Loverly Just You Wait The Rain in Spain I Could Have Danced All Night On the Street Where You Live Show Me and Get Me To the Church On Time Stellar.

- Greatest movie and Songs!

This is a great movie! I love this movie because it is also a teaching me at the same time, and helps me in choir!

- mamma mia!

fabulous songs! meryl streep and amanda seyfried are amazing!

- Awesome!

Shut the f!@& up pinky pie Marni Nixon and Audrey Hepburn combined make the PERFECT Eliza Dolittle and nobody can top it! Sure Julie A is very talented but I think the movie was pure perfection and yes, my fair lady is my favorite movie of all times!

- For the Movie:)

the songs are great but I WANT THE MOVIE!!!

- A Classic Soundtrack

I absolutley love this soundtrack! I think all the songs are beautifully sung and if you have any musical experience you willl too!

- Pales in comparison to Julie Andrews, but still excellent

I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND THE SOUNDTRACK! Andre Previn's orchestrations are beautiful, Rex Harrison's Higgins is better than ever, and Marni Nixon does a lovely job as well. The only problem I have is the dialogue and sound effects on the bonus tracks...ugh...but it's still worth the $10. Of course, my favorite recording is the Julie Andrews one, but this is a must-have for any musical fan!

- Timeless movie classic music

I absolutely love this movie and soundtrack. Audrey Hepburn was perfection in the movie. This is a feel good cd.

- AWESOME!

This is a classic!! But please get the movie!! I love it and I will be first in line!!

- Stage is better but this is Great!

Julie Andrews created this role but at the time she was a unkown in movies . The movie studieo at the time kicked them selfs becouse of the big slash Julie made in Mary Poppins. I remember this even though at the time I was a child . I feel in love with Audrey Hepburn . She became Elisea Dolittle . I went with my mother to the New York opening . I even have the book showing how it was made . I was 5 . We sat frist row balcany . I did not know of the out stading voice of Marni Nixon. The blend made both of them out stading . The great acting of Audrey and the great voice of Marni . I now think of this to date as one of my favorite muscial movies . If you love older movie . This is one of the best . The album is wonderful . I just love it .

- Was and still is the pinnacle of music and magic in cinema

This soundtrack is one of my favorite. It's a great one to listen to when at home and just wanting a relaxed night with a cup of tea. The music only lends itself to the magic of the screen.

- Amazing!

I've wanted this soundtrack for a while and wow! Marni, Audrey, and Rex are amazing in the soundtrack and the score is even better. I highly recommend it.

- Where’s the MOVIE, iTunes???

Fantastic Lerner & Lowe score/soundtrack, but we NEED the MOVIE to accompany it. PLEASE 💕

- As Good As The Movie

This movie is one of the greatest classics of all time-and the music! The music captures every hidden aspect of the movie wonderfully. Songs like "I Could have Danced All Night" and "On the Street Where You Live" are got-to-have songs that are absolutely stunning. I recommend this soundtrack to everyone. If you liked the movie, you will most definately LOVE the soundtrack!

- It deserves better than this....

This is simply one of the most terribly-produced movie musical soundtracks I have ever heard. Don't get me wrong, the music is excellent, and the performances are excellent, but whoever arranged for this reissue deserves to be shot. The track "The Flower Market" is typical of its perverseness: along with the beautiful music, one can hear random people shouting, horns honking, and wheels driving over the London cobbles. Then suddenly the music stop, a character begins a line of dialogue, only to be interrupted by an ugly fadeout. Thankfully, Andre Previn's magnificent arrangement of the overture is not hampered by such problems, and neither are the first four Eliza solos. The pitiful thing about this is that the performances are really worth preserving, even if they do not quite match up to the Original Broadway Cast. Marni Nixon dubs Audrey Hepburn very well, and Bill Shirley offers up the most moving rendition of "The Street Where You Live" ever. I have heard that the SACD reissue is a vast improvement upon this. Let's hope so.

- :)

The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain<3 But cmon iTunes, where's the movie?!

- What a Delight

To hear a classic forty-four years later sounding better now than before, every note, nuance and accent is a miracle. It brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.

- AUDREY HEPBURN!!!!

YAAAAAAAY!!!!! I LOVE MY FAIR LADY!!!!!!!! This is the best, most classic musical ever made!!! All of you who think Julie Andrews should have played Eliza, you're dead wrong!!! As much as I love her in the Sound of Music, she is a horrible Eliza. Yay for Audrey Hepburn she is so gorgeous and so amazing!!!! Buy this soundtrack!!!

- I HATE IT.

I don't think Marni Nixon is bad, but Julie Andrews is a ZILLION times better. She's the perfect original. Some people don't realize that there was a play for this, and this is based off the play with Julie Andrews. Julie Andrews is the best singer of all time, she is amazing and the only ELIZA DOOLITTLE. she acts and sings a much better Eliza. By FAAR. and Marni has a weird voice going on when she sings

- WOA!!!!

WOW!!!!! I LOVE this soundtrack!!!! What I mean 2 say is...Man what a Heck of a soundtrack!!!!! I saw the musicals soundtrack, but the orginal is the best!!!!!! My 3 faves R "With a Little Bit of Luck" "Without U" and my No. 1 Fave: "On the Street where u live" It's worth the $, buy them.... *I sure did!!!*

- Sa-Weet!

Dang... Marnie Nixon is so good at accents! First Maria in West Side Story, now this! She blows my sox off!! Plus, this is like the second best musical ever... west Side Story comes in first...

- I Love This MOVIE!!!!!!!!

This is a great soundtrack. A few of the songs I think Julie Andrews (who played Eliza in the Broadway play) did better, especially songs with the cockney accent such as Wouldn't It Be Loverly & Just You Wait. I'd buy those 2 songs from the Broadway soundtrack & buy most of your other favorites from this one. I absolutely loved the play & the movie and think this soundtrack is good too.

- Not "Pop" Music...

I would hardly place "My Fair Lady" in the "Pop" genre!!!!! I have loved this soundtrack since a small child and have been Blessed to see not only the movie, but also the stage play. Please place this wonderfull album and all related to in with "Soundtracks". One of my favorites, I know every word.....LOL

- Movie!!

Love the soundtrack, but could we get the movie on here as well?

- MY FAIR LADY

I am working on these pieces in my musical theater class, and I love them!!!!!!!!

- A loverly musical!

What a wonderful musical with a wonderful cast. Warms the heart and ears. Sit down with your best friend or go it alone and you won't be lonley for long. You feel the characters are ones you want as friends. You feel yourself humming the tunes after the movie is long over with. I could watch it time and again. Wait, I have!!!

- Why not Julie Andrews?

The sound is great, but I really think that Julie Andrews should have played the role. I think its deceiving that Audrey Hepburn doesn't do her own singing.
