She survives both of her parents, dying horribly in a car accident, she raised her many siblings, and then she thought to get into a music career to help them. I’ll have a better life! Then she was diagnosed with Lyme disease from a tick! & it destroyed her vocal cords! And then she almost died from COVID-19! She was airlifted to a hospital and only had moments to live! & and she still survived to release this album to the world! Her voice is changed big ones after she was awake for a vocal surgery!! she had to try to sing so they could get the vocal cords back to what they were as much as possibles

I have been a big fan of Shania Twain since I was a little boy at two years old back in 1998. I can’t stop listening to this album. The songs are dance worthy and are amazing. I have so many favorites off this new album that I hope some of them make the cut on the Queen Of Me Tour setlist when it starts up at the end of April of this year. I will always stand by this queen forever and for always. Way to go SHANIA you are back on your throne for sure QUEEN

Shania is back with her sixth studio album, Queen of Me, which was released on Friday, February 3. She continues to defy expectations and genres, and gives us another solid body of work.
Queen of Me is Shania’s most pop record to date (along with the red/pop version of her 2002 UP! album). There are traces of her more country influences throughout the album, but on this one, she’s serving dance floor ready track after track.
Lyrically, there is a direct throughline from her earliest recorded songs such as “Hate to Love” and “God Ain’t Gonna Getcha For That,” to songs on this album like “Brand New” and “Pretty Liar.” She has a knack for turning a phrase on its head or even a cliché into something with more depth than ever anticipated.
This album does what Shania does best – inspire and motivate. There’s plenty of room for anger and sadness, but she’s not going to let that keep her down and she’s not going to wallow in it. Instead, she’s taking charge and putting a more optimistic, positive spin on it to empower and uplift.
This is an album to put on repeat filled with depth and fun.

It’s an empowering anthem about knowing who you really are and being happy with yourself. This album is absolutely beautiful. Some country fans want to paint it as not being real country but clearly they’ve never acknowledged how Shania has challenged the idea of Mainstream ideas of country music. She shared is in the Dolly Parton bracket of making country music pop music. She uses her vocal talent and ability to transform us and move us and push us to question boundaries both in music and ourselves. She is truly a queen of herself to know who she is and where she has been. She exposes us rawly and openly to her story and her experiences while reminding us that we can find hope it ourselves. And yes, her voice sounds different from years ago but for a reason. Rathen than critising a woman who pulled through a life altering illness, stop judging and just accept her new voice for what it is and the one that will stay here and won't change to to what it used to be, becuase she still knows how to use it. Giddy Up! is an absolute favourite, reminds me of both Up! and Man! I Feel Like a Woman! Other standouts are Waking Up Dreaming, Got It Good, Not Just A Girl and of course the final track The Hardest Stone - a knockout midtempo number which serves as a proper closer to Shania's most consistent album since her Greatest Hits compilation almost 20 years ago. At £4.99 it's simply unbeatabler and is highly recommended to country and non country fans alike.

The songwriting is so boring and amateur. Lyrics are too much about empowerment and not enough about having fun. Nothing like her fun songs of the past. Bored of her new style lyrics without the Mutt fun factor and hooks you'd sing all day long.
The production sounds like it was done in a bedroom. She needs big Mutt Lange style productions to sit well with her voice.
If you like Shania from her Come On Over or UP period this album won't be for you. It's awful.
As a Shania fan I never thought I'd write this but the album is another shocking effort.
