XTENDED serves as the deluxe version to Ken Carsonโ€™s sophomore studio album X. Following the release of X, on July 13, 2022, Ken Carson took to Twitter hinting the possibility of a deluxe version to the album. After keeping quiet about the deluxe, on October 11, Ken Carson took to Twitter once again announcing that the deluxe would be set for a Halloween release: ๐‘œ๐“ƒ ๐’ฝ๐’ถ๐“๐“๐‘œ๐“Œ๐‘’๐‘’๐“ƒ ๐’พ ๐“๐“‰๐‘’๐“ƒ๐’น ๐’พ๐“‰ On October 20, 2022, Ken revealed that XTENDED was not going to release on Halloween in a string of deleted-tweets due to his label, rather alluding that he would leak the deluxe himself via SoundCloud and will still intend to make a Halloween release. On October 26, 2022, Ken Carson confirmed on Twitter that the deluxe would officially see a Halloween release, alongside revealing the cover art.

XTENDED Wiki

X is the second studio album by American rapper Ken Carson. It was released through Opium and Interscope Records on July 8, 2022. The album features guest appearances from his Opium labelmates Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang. Production was executively handled by Playboi Carti, alongside several other record producers, including Ken's frequent collaborators F1lthy and Lil 88, among others. It is a follow-up to his debut studio album Project X (2021). The deluxe version, titled Xtended, was released three months later, on October 31, 2022, containing five additional tracks. X received mixed reviews from music critics. The album entered at number 115 on the Billboard 200.
