Listen, my mom was a secretary at a country music station growing up, but I’ve always been sort of an “everything but country” people. Mom liked it but not is kids. Lainey made me a fan of the genre. She brought me in. Black people are coming ! Lainey has got it and this album is absolutely stunning. I may not have been a fan as a kid, but I know what could Country sounds like. This is good Country, and it has a Rock flair and some brief moments Funk. I am recommending this album to any young woman I come across. It’s brilliant.
