This lame flame thinks he’s all that and sings covers of songs that were done by people with more talent in their pinky than. He has in his whole body. Waste of time.

I loathe slow beats, slow songs, I need up beats, I need music that makes me want to dance! Music that I can feel in my heart and my soul and make my blood boil. The first song and west coast is all I’ll be buying I’m afraid. Everything else is, well, just tediously dull.

I thought he would use his fantastic voice to make some great songs his own, but what we3 got is mediocracy.

This is just too unbearable to listen through until each song ends. Chandelier hurt my ears so bad. It’s worse than nails on a chalkboard. It’s a shame because this guy can really sing, but these versions and that screechy voice worries me.

The best cover Adam has ever done .. by far … was at the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors and his beautiful rendition of Cher’s “Believe”. I am so disappointed it was not included on this album.

Couldn’t wait for album to come out. Once again Adam does not disappoint. What a musical range.

Just wow and just wonderful album....There is no better voice than Adam Lmaberts.. His interpretation of each song is flawless. Exciting vocals as well as songs which touch the heart..

I love Adam Lambert, but the songs are over-produced. I would love to see him do some 70s songs though.

This entire album sounds so much like karaoke…

I love Adam and had high expectations. The originals are amazing and his cover interpretations I felt, were a love letter to his predecessors of Rock, but because they fill half an album rather than one or two which left me with the feeling of Chinese Take-Away- good in the moment but still hungry for more.

I'm not a typical PoP music listener. However, I remember Adam Lambert from American Idol years ago. At that time, I thought, Freddie would have to be somewhere loving this! Saw this album come up and was ready to dismiss it but thought come on it's worth at least a little listen. Glad I did!

These are songs that should not be touched. I love Adam & hes a gifted singer, BUT he should stick to original music. I have a feeling this was contractual…

Great renditions

Adam Lambert never disappoints with his amazing voice! He's able to put his stamp on any song he sings whether original or a cover. I was never a fan of the original songs that Adam covers on this album, but became a fan of his covers. He made each song his own, sometimes making it hard to even remember what the original sounded like. He just has a sublime, fantastic voice that can lead you to the depths or soar to the heights. Highly recommend!

When Adam covers a song, it becomes his. He could sing a recipe book and it would still be better than 90% of what garbage is released today. The fact he recorded West Coast in one take is reason enough to give this album 5 stars, but the rest of the album is so incredibly good that 5 stars isn’t even enough.

Adam Lambert comes into his own with High Drama. Adam can take any song and make it his own with such an amazing voice and style.

High Drama is all that and more! The more I listen the more these songs get right into my heart and soul. Absolutely love!!

Incredible album! From Sex on Fire to I’m a Man. I just can’t pick a favorite song. This will be on repeat forever.

I love Adam Lambert's voice! These tracks are so much better than the originals. It's like they are Adam Lambert songs. My favorites are My Attic, Ordinary World, Holding Out for a Hero, and Do You Really Want to Hurt Me. Really, I love them all and change my mind regularly about what is my favorite.

This album truly is special: each track creatively reimagined in a way that allows Adam's voice to sooth or soar. It's quite the diverse compilation that surprisingly gels. When so many fans comment on social media that they can't pick a favorite, they're not exaggerating. The tracks are THAT good!

His voice is amazing. I don't like any of the arrangements on these songs. On Idol he made songs his own, but it still kept the elements that made them great. I don't hear that here as they sound like disco remixes of rock songs.

I feel like if you want to be an artist you should at least write your own music and leave classics and songs already made alone. Sure everyone samples but at least just use the beat in a format. Terrible album by the way, I rather listen to homeless people rap or tell stories about their hayday. I shouldn’t have even gave this 1 star but I’m nice and it’s tgif!
