I am listening to the new album and am blown away! It’s frustrating that it took a while to come out but I’m glad it’s here. Some of the tracks took directions I wouldn’t have guessed and they’re terrific! I haven’t tracked BM since their inception in Sakura Gakuin like some but ever since I heard them the first time I’ve been hooked this album just reinforces that feeling.

They just keep growing and getting better

I pre-purchased the album from apple. So far I have only been given three of the songs from the album. It says purchased but won’t let me have what I paid for. Very not satisfied. Otherwise I love the album so far.

Metal Galaxy showed that they can perform in almost any style and this just doesn’t do it for me, I really do love them but this is kind of where I pause and hope for the best next time.

As these young ladies grow, so does their sound. While they started Metal, this album isn’t. It’s very electric pop rock. I still enjoy the album, but this is very different from their first 2 albums. I noticed a slight change in Metal Galaxy where is sounded a bit more pop rock, but this is definitely a deviation from their original sound. I will still support these ladies as they grow as they are very talented. Some artists like to experiment with new sounds. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Some people hate it when some bands change it up, but I don’t mind it. It shows maturity and growth.

Having already purchased the physical release (standard & LE editions); I couldn’t resist a third purchase. I found myself listening through the album with no skips. It’s rare for me to enjoy an album’s full track list. The opening track definitely sets the tone for a musical journey that doesn’t let up. Babymetal has crafted a great album. From the self titled debut 1st album to this 4th album (The Other One), it’s an amazing journey.

They seem to be phoning this one in. Bland is the best word I have for the album.

My man is delusional if he thinks this corporate birthed group is metal.

These girls keep branching and exploring new sound and styles and while this is definitely not one of their hardest albums, there’s a LOT of Nu-metal, electro rock and math rock in here. More complicated rhythms and electronic influences. It’s a really good sound that is better the more you listen to it.

When it was first announced that Babymetal was having a comeback I was so stoked and preordered the entire album… well come to the day of release and the rest of the songs weren’t in my library I thought it was weird. Now it says I have to REBUY all the rest of the songs that I had already bought before in order to have the full album? No thanks.

This very mediocre, there are no stand out tracks. This is the weakest out of all there albums

If this is their first concept album, I love it!!!

As the gates open the world will see a sea of metalheads as far as the eyes can see. Standing strong with no fear or regret. We together fight for this genre and take on anyone who stands in our way. Plus anyone who doesn’t like what BabyMetal represents then that person doesn’t respect music from all cultures or metal in general.

Just got into BABYMETAL recently. Wasn’t sure what to expect but end up really liking this whole album. Some song I didn’t like at first listen but end up liking them after giving them a second try. Definitely like the more mature sound from the song in this album.
