I bought this because I will be seeing a performance of it soon. I had never heard it so I bought the cheapest recording of the complete symphony. I am not really competent to critique the performance or the music itself, but there are multiple instances of crowd noise such as coughing and throat clearing. I am not necessarily dissatisfied with the purchase since it is accomplishing its purpose-getting me familiar with the piece I am going to see performed. However, if you are buying this because you already know you like it, then I would suggest finding another recording.

I bought this one because it was an inexpensive purchase. But it has quite a few instrumental blunders in it (enough to make me wish I would have shelled out money for a different album). Lots of balance problems, brass overplaying instruments, brass missing partials, and string tremolo problems.
