James Taylor is the single greatest live musician of all time. He sounds better live than he does in a recording studio.

I saw JT in concert in Charlotte, NC in the early ‘90s, I’ll always remember Shower the People and Arnold McCuller’s singing the final verses and at the end the entire crowd went total nuts. JT just smiled and nodded to Arnold with total appreciation. To this day when I hear JT and Arnold sing Show the people it sends shivers down my spine. So for, this album is worth it just for this one song, but you’ll want to listen to every song after all it is JT Live!

Simply THE BEST live CD!!! I never get tired of listening to this CD. It is the next best thing to being @ a JT concert, and I've been to 5 of his concerts!!!

This is a old George Jones song that James Taylor does as good as George Jones, I saw Jones in concert front row, and that how it sounds. Folk, ballad, pop, western, he does them all well.

I regard this as the finest live collection of any artist. A timeless classic for your pleasure.

Clearly this should be one of the first albums any JT fan should own. Before '93 many fans were wondering when a live JT album would be released, and it finally got recorded in November 1992 with material from 14 shows. This album captures many hits as well as many other fan favorites and even some never before heard tunes from James Taylor ("New Hymn" and "She Thinks I Still Care"). JT and his band sound great live and I think that this is a good starting point album for a new JT fan. this two-disc set is clearly, the best!

It doesn't make the cut for me maybe because I have the body of a man but the maturity of a teenager. Whatever the case may be, he's a spectacular live artist

This album was made on the mirge of JT's schlocky music, but this album is based on all his old songs like, "Everybody Has The Blues," a favorite of mine. Groovy, sweet, acoustic guitar, piano and drum beats AND James Taylor's famous voice. 5* album!!

I had the pleasure of seeing JT during the tour that led to this album, and again last night. This music stands the test of time. It captures both the spirit and the sound. It's essential for any fan of his.

After years of writing great music a concert album was inevitable. In J.T.'s case, it was about time. If you ever saw this guy on stage you knew how good his shows were. Musically, his shows are flawless. The voice, the musicians and rthe tremendous back-up singers he worked with for many years created some fantastic summer nights! This album is pretty much a perfect representation of the shows in the 90's into the 2000's. This is a must-have for fans both new and old. He covers a broad spectrum of his career and does it with precision and class!

I was so happy to find this original album. Usually, I don't like remakes, so I was very pleased to find that the songs and backup singers were the same as I remembered. I'm so excited.

I was born in 85 and in 1990 I attended my very first live rock concert....who was performing? The one and only James Taylor. I have seen him 6 times since and this album, to me, exemplifies everything that a JT concert is and shall forever be. One word left: ENJOY!!

If you only have one JT set in your collection, this should be it. I'm a long time JT fan. Going back to the 70's. Not only for his voice, but for the band he travels with. James always tours with THE best musicians out there. End of story. You will not find a better backing band than JT's. And because of that, this set is amazing. As a listener, you get filled up with the beauty of the music inside and out.

I've been watching this album for the longest time on iTunes. They had just a few tracks, and then a few more. Finally, now the entire album is available. This is a great live JT album and every fan should own it.

This is simply the best compilation of JT music out there. The live quality is outstanding and reminds me of going to his concerts! It's the next best thing to being there. This collection is very inclusive and has just about everything you might want to hear except for some of the newer things.

I BOUGHT THIS TWO-DISC SET ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO, BUT LOST ONE OF THEM IN MY MANY MOVES. I BOUGHT THE ENTIRE SET FROM ITUNES, JUST TO REPLACE THE 15 SONGS I LOST. THIS ALBUM BRINGS ME TO TEARS...IT'S THAT GOOD. I NORMALLY DON'T LIKE LIVE ALBUMS, BUT THE MUSIC IS JUST SO AWESOME. IF YOU HAVE A MUSICAL BONE IN YOUR BODY, YOU WILL LOVE THIS MUSIC. BUY IT NOW!!!! This is one of the best examples of James Taylor's talent. No matter how old he is, he always sounds exactly the same--perfect pitch and raw emotion behind it. One thing about the description--this was recorded in 1993, not 1968 as iTunes says. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I remember when my mother bought this CD. I was 13 at the time and we loved it then. At 32 I've still got this music and this talented man's voice in my head.

This is by far the best live recorded cd I've ever heard. From start to finish the performance is unbelievable and on a good sound system it's 3D. Buy! Enjoy!!

JT is just awesome and if you ever get a chance to see him live take that opportunity. I saw him in Nashua, NH back when I was in high school. Just awesome.

James is one of the only singers who sounds both better live and better than ever. Now that they have the entire album on here, there's no stoppin' me from getting this for my mom this Christmas. All of his greatest songs packaged and ready for the holidays, iTunes' timing couldn't have been better. A must have for any James Taylor fan.
