It is great to see that iTunes finally uploaded the entire album. The Furs sound just like I remember them.....

It's amazing how well some era-defining music can hold up, I think I like this band better now than I did even when they were most active. Relistening isn't just nostalgia, it's just good music.

Even though they did make a rerecording for the 1986 Pretty in Pink movie, the one included in this album is the original song from the 1981 album Talk Talk Talk. For those familiar with the movie, the original is in the opening credits and the rerecording is feature during the closing credits.

Such a great song! An 80s classic, the Furs at the height of their careers! I used to listen on my walkman! Remember those?

A greatest hits compilation of the Furs is not complete without their single-best party/dance song ever, India. Other than that, I think this compo is adequate.

I did some DJ work in college and the Furs were in the song rotation. Listening to the songs again it is amazing how well they hold up to time. I never understood why they didn't really make it big as did a lot of British bands of that era. I guess their record company couldn't decide if they were new wave or a glam rock band. This month I saw the Furs were touring and would be in Dallas. I bought a couple of tickets to see them. I pulled up setlist.fm to see what they played at House of Blues in New Orleans a few night before. All their original songs! I went to the show and was amazed how well they performed. Sound was perfect, they were tight as a band and no lip syncing. Richard Butler and all the band were very enthusiastic and really worked the crowd.

My favorite band of the 80's and 90's. A lot of their cd's stand the test of time and still sound great. I have seen the band live a few times. They always killed it live.

Not one bad song on this album. One of the most original bands ever. The songs are beautiful well sung masterpieces. I love this album. If you like this new 80's revival acts why not try the originals.

Richard Butlers voice often compared to David Bowie's has a unique style and sound. A very important New Wave/Alternative Band. You cant go wrong with the the obvoius tracks 4,5,7,8,9,10,11, I think track 10 "The Ghost In You" is one of the best new wave songs of all time. I also think track 15 "Until She Comes" is a very beautiful and underated song.

One of my favorite albums of all time because I like how all of my favorite songs are combined in this one.

I love this CD brings me back to the 80's. Pretty in Pink was a great hit and movie. So was the "Wedding Singer" Love my way. What a great way to go down memory lane. They should write new songs. Great group.

Of the many 80s collections I've considered repurchasing since my tape collection vanished, there are a mere handfull I really can't do without, and this is one. Every song on this compilation is prime; and it isn't until you read through the list that you realize how much they wallpapered your experience then, with Butler's gorgeous induplicatable fuzztone voice. I would've paid the ten bucks just to hear "Until She Comes" again, which I still love unconditionally and think is the most unique of all their work. That one tune is the era for me. Also: Todd Rundgren produced some of their best hits, & well, nuff said; Todd. Good stuff.
