This was not a good album but I remember I wore out the audio tape when I was a kid. NKOTB didn't get good until they ditched their terrible manager who was ripping them off.

- Still Stinks

Wow. This stuff stank when I was in junior high, and it still stinks now! Stay away from manufactured music. You'll only play into the hands of the evil, change-chump, record company executives if you purchase music from bands that are engineered to make you like them. Do you know what else is engineered to make you like it? Meth. If you want to listen to a Wahlberg, rent some movies with Marky Mark in them.

- New Kids reuniting tour

They're back for a tour this summer and a new album as well. I am so excited!!! I just had to buy a couple of their albums for my ipod. I remember having one of those Jem and the Hologram stage things that had the tape player in it and I would walk around with one of my NKOTB tapes in it and just jamming. Gotta go sync my ipod now!!

This is one of the best albums from the NKOTB, you cannot hate on how hot this album is. I have it on tape, but needed it on my ipod. Worth EVERY penny!

Words cannot express how friggin' excited I was to come across this! Omigosh! This album rocks, I love love love love love love love it. I'm 29 years old dancing around my house like a teenager again. LOL Thank God for ITUNES! Thank God for New Kids! Ha. It's just as good as I remember. LOVE IT.

- Kicks you right out of a bad mood

OK, yes, this is incredibly cheesy and Maurice Star had these boys sounding exactly like New Edition but it makes you feel good. It takes me right back to 6th grade when I was in love with the new kids. If you like the New kids or other 80's cheese-pop this is a MUST HAVE!

I love these guys! Yes the music could be called "cheesy" but it's totally feel-good old-school pop that will always put a smile on your face! I have a soft spot for classic harmonies so this album, and this group in general, are always close to the top of my favorites list!

I bought New Kid on the block by the New Kids on the block to put on my ipod, but it does not play anything and it does not go on my ipod. Other songs work and go onto my ipod. If anyone knows what is wrong please speak up.

- One of the most underrated NKOTB albums ever

I LOVED this album. Sure, it was a little New Edition sounding (especially Popsicle and Stop It Girl), but the songs were sooo catchy and made me bop my head as a 7 year old. 20 years later, I am still not ashamed to say that I like this.

I am soooo excited to finally see them in concert. I was a crazy fan, I had posters all over my room and probably everything that i could get my hands on. I never got to see them in concert when i was a teenager. I feel like a teenager again. Listening to these songs as i download them, brings back memories of my sisters and i dancing in the streets listening to nkotb on our boombox. This is awesome. They are the greatest!

I'm soooooooo excited that finally i can have all the NKOTB albums on my Ipod. I can't believe i'm going to see them for the first time in concert, my dream came true...I love NKOTB, i feel like a teenager again.

I thought this album entertained me well. But I do have to comment on one thing, too bubblegum pop for me. But overall, not bad for a first album.

- Nothing original or good about this

Over produced music that is only made to make someone money has been around since the 50s but this takes the cake. This album actually wasn't big until after they had some hits with their following release. This was the record that people would show off to prove that they loved nkotb before they were Superstars.. If you like this then that's good for you, but I think that you might need some help, like say from our pals in the white lab coats. There is no originality here or even anything that you could mistake for musical talent if you want I can take your ten bucks and kick you in the nuts and it would be less painful and a lot quicker than listening to this crap.

I have been waiting so long for iTunes to get this album. I love it soooooooo much!

- Flashback

I put in a request to iTunes for this album a while back and thought it would never be released. To my surprise today it appeared! I wanted this album for sheer memory alone. I am 34 years old now, but back 20 years ago, I loved these guys! My room was so plastered with posters of Jordan, you couldn't even see my walls or ceiling. This was one of the first cassettes I treasured as a New Kids fan. Now with a daughter of my own, it will be interesting to see what boy bands she idolizes when she is older. Are the songs on this album Grammy winners? Not by any means....but it is good in it's own way. Call it sentiment, call it nostalgia, but any true New Kids fan needs to have this in their collection. Yes, it may be total cheese, but it's cheese worth paying 7 bucks for. I listened to it immediately after purchasing it and I laughed so hard I almost died! Hey, all artists need to get a start somehow...Classic piece of music history. Thanks a bundle, iTunes!

New Kids on the Block (also initialized as NKOTB) is an American boy band from Dorchester, Massachusetts. The band consists of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold more than 80 million records worldwide, and are often credited for paving the way for future boy bands such as Take That, Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. They won two American Music Awards in 1990 for Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. In 1991, they performed the halftime show at Super Bowl XXV, a first for a popular music group. Formed in 1984, New Kids on the Block achieved stardom in 1989, an achievement listed as number 16 on Rolling Stone's "Top 25 Teen Idol Breakout Moments". The group disbanded in 1994. In 2007, the group reunited to record an album and mount a concert tour in 2008. Since then the group has released two more studio albums and have continued to tour. The group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014.
