I just got into listening to bob dylan and I already see he’s a great poet. Bob just brings a different sound and yeah maybe he his voice is a little different but I learned you have to give something a couple tries before you know you actually like it....keep on playing like this Bob and you’re gonna never get old.....ps get like a Rolling Stone, blowing in the wind, Mr tambourine man, knocking on heavens door, and the times are a changing. Good luck.
Rembrandt, Picasso, Babe Ruth, Mozart and yes Bob Dylan! A musical genius!
nice songs and all but no cover???!
I hate those people who diss this guy because they think that his voice is bad. I agree that his voice isn’t incredible, and you are entitled to have a negative opinion of him, but don’t moan on the ITunes Store that you don’t like it. While you are busy complaining about one little thing you don’t like, we are busy enjoying this great music.
Time and time again, the Bob Dylan's Greatist Hit's CD has made me the life of the party. Everyone want's to be me, and how could they not? I OWN THIS CD! Buy it and be cool, like yours truly, me! So, "How does it feel?" to be "Like a Rolling stone?" Buy the CD, and even you, will find out.
Bob Dylan is a genius. I had the honor of seeing him in concert live just a few weeks ago. I think its fair to say this guy is the greatest songwriter on the earth. he revolutionized music. Who knows what music would be like without him. This album sums up a lot of Bob Dylans greatest hits. Listen to the entire thing and I gurantee you will love it.
Bob Dylan is only amazing.
This man was an unsung revolutionary. He wrote amazing songs, and still does to this day. Classic. If you're looking for essential songwriting, look no further.
hell yea this album is the greatest! the best of the 60s indeed! agree?
Nothing more to say but wow!!
❤️
While full of medication to fight off a painful head cold and more than enough sleeping pills I decided that the only way to to deal with the overwhelming existential dread of life was to download Bob Dylan.
I love the vinal recording. I even wore a couple out. Itunes did something to give it a hallow empty sound. you can even hear knocks in the back of The Times. not on vinal. save your self some money and pick it up at a garage sale if you dont already have it. it is really his best compalation without the six or seven song you dont want, like every other best of.
I'm just glad idiots haven't found out about Dylans genius. I'm sure they would question and scrutinize every song until we are washed into the sea. Truly great musician and album. Thanks.
My soul is singing
Best Bob Dylan album!
I think that only some people who don't know what music is have ranked this album below 5 star rating.
There is only 1 bad song on this album- "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35" Everything else is awesome.
awesome songwriter, Bob Dylan is classic.
I bought this DOUBLE album when it first came out and there were way more than just ten songs. Where are the rest? It was one of those albums that really opened my eyes to Bob Dylan's songs.
All the classic's are here.
This is what American music is about... "The Times They Are A-Changin'"... wOw!
this is a perfect way to first get into dylan's work. the best here include rainy day women, subterranean homesick blues, like a rolling stone, and positively 4th street.
This was my first vinyl record. It is a great album for those who are just discovering Bob's music.
this man cannot sing at all!!!!!!!
Nice for collections...
a very good one
You should just get Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, Blonde on Blonde and Blood on the Tracks. But if you just want the hits or are strapped for cash this is pretty good.
It’s Bob Dylan, no amount of stars on a review can give the man justice. He is incredibly talented!
This is a great album, especially for those unfamiliar with Bob Dylan. It's a great introduction to his stuff
I'm not a big fan of Greatest Hits collections - and I don't think this collection is a great representation of Dylan's early work. If this is all you heard of Dylan, you'd get the wrong impression of the quality of his very early albums. You're missing so many of his very-best songs. But, if you can't afford to get individual albums, this might be an ok place to start. If you do have his early albums and don't have this set, you should at least download "Positively 4th Street." This is one of my favorite Dylan tracks. Quite a shame this song didn't appear on the Highway 61 Revisited album. But in this day and age, you can now add it yourself.
I think music would have gone in a slightly different direction if it weren't for Bob Dylan
It feels great man. This is a collection of some of the most influential words in history, they just happen to all be written by the same poet. I'd reccomend this album to anyone. Sure, you may not find much of his less publicized works, but they're Dylan's works, so every song is worth the cash. Buy it, put the four discs on your playlist, and let the muse speak to you, because that's what makes Dylan so great, his muse speaks to everyone. Especially if you are a rolling stone, then you really get it, even if he doesn't get it, you get it.

My girlfriend, Maureen [45 years ago.. now 70], loved this Dylan bloke & I couldn’t see why. Now I understand. He’s unique and great to listen to.
Great songs, from a wonderful career, sung by a spectacular human being.
